Pre-Show Notes:
I attempted to watch TNA Sacrifice last night. Not because I wanted to see new World Tag Team Champions crowned, but to see how crappy the PPV would be. It’s no secret TNA sucks right now. It’s hard to believe the same creative team that booked Lockdown last month booked the shit I watched at Sacrifice.
First of all, I don’t mind the semi-finals and finals of a tournament on a PPV. I enjoyed the King of the Ring when they would have about 3 matches and crown a new king. However, TNA went overboard and had 7 matches to crown new tag champions. I’m all about tag team wrestling but damn. What really pissed me off is all of the “random” teams didn’t make it past the first round. They all pretty much turned on each other. Why the hell even build that up if they’re not going to win? Most all of the guys who were feuding with each other got paired up, so it’s not like they spawned any new feuds off. LAX won the titles and I think that’s long overdue.
My next beef was the Ladder/Get Your Head Shaved/Battle Royal match with the Knockouts. First of all, if I was a girl and I had to choose between my hair and a title shot where I would get my ass kicked, I would gladly hop over the top rope and eliminate myself. However, with Gail Kim lasting until the final two and she having immunity, they run into a confusing clusterfuck. Angelina Love was forced to remain at ringside while Kim won the match. So, I guess to further their feud with Roxxi and to get them over as heel, Love & Velvet Sky helped Kim win the match. Why not have somebody else win immunity so it wouldn’t be a confusing ending? I’ll give Roxxi & Gail Kim some credit, they kicked ass in the first ladder match I’ve seen involving women. Roxxi got her head shaved and it looked like she was bleeding up top. The face Knockouts came to hold her hand while he locks were trimmed. See, they did this with Molly Holly & Victoria a few years back at it worked because the heel got her hair cut. This time, the barely-over-face got it cut and everybody hated it. The crowd crapped all over it with a nice & loud “Fire Russo” chant. If that doesn’t get somebody thinking, nothing will.
The World Heavyweight Championship was decent at best. They could have at least announced beforehand Kurt Angle wouldn’t be there. They could have put a semi-main eventer in the match instead of Kaz. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like Kaz. However, he doesn’t really fit in with an over-the-hill Steiner and Samoa Joe. He and Joe could have kicked some ass but Steiner just f’ed it up. Maybe they could have gotten Kevin Nash or some over the hill main event guy in there. I feel bad for Adit and anybody else that has to cover that crap. Russo needs to go. The old guys need to go. Now, let’s get to RAW is Blogged!!!
RAW is Blogged:
We open this week with a recap from the burial of ECW last week by Triple H and Mr. Kennedy. That’s a great message to send to wrestling fans: ECW can be buried by two guys. Wait, RAW was buried by two guys a few weeks ago.
We’re live from Detroit, Michigan this week with the lights out. Lillian sang “God Save the Queen” for General Manager King William Regal. Regal talked about his country being disrespected and how he needed to set an example. He threatened to throw people out of the arena and unless they’re plants, if I was thrown out, I would knock his damn lights out. Mickie James came out, claiming it was her brother and his girlfriend who were being thrown out. Mickie was looking hot and Regal threatened to strip her of her title. This brought out the returning Super Cena, who got a decent reaction until his music was cut off. He ran his mouth and sucked up to the crowd a little by reading e-mails. He even mentioned stuff about Vince McMahon’s sex life that you couldn’t find on the internet. Who the hell would want to watch Vince have sex? He mentioned a “Fire Regal” chant and as I said earlier, they had a “Fire Russo” chant at TNA Sacrifice last night. I actually laughed at the “pooping in my mouth and calling it a sundae” line. Regal ended up making Cena against Randy Orton for the main event. If anybody gets involved in the match, they’ll be suspended. I wonder how long that will last. Cena went on to tell Regal he was in the good ol’ U S of A and if he kept making bad decisions, God wouldn’t even save him. He then proceeded to suck up to the Detroit crowd. He then got Lillian to break out some Aretha Franklin, singing “R-E-S-P-E-C-T.” This was a decent opener, mainly because Cena hasn’t been there in so long it was about time he started building for his match against JBL.
After the break, Rowdy Roddy Piper made his way down to ringside for the World Tag Team Championship. Santino came down sporting a new t-shirt that I like. His tag partner Carlito came down next followed by the champs, Holly & Rhodes. They had a decent match but the crowd was somewhat dead. Cody got a DDT on Santino to retain the belts. Piper got in the ring to celebrate. Um, ok. I guess they won’t have a tag title match at Judgment Day.
After the commercial…..KENNEDY!!! He came out wearing that crappy jumpsuit but at least he got to do his own intro this time, in a way. They should never take that away from him. His opponent would be a very white, very overweight, very ugly Snitsky. Snitsky dominated early before Kennedy got the momentum for a little while. He hit the Mic Check for the win but I’m concerned with his involvement at Judgment Day. They really need to go back to how he acted on Smackdown. He did his own ring intro and if he won, he would announce himself as the winner.
Backstage, Santino Marella told Todd Grisham that he’s looking for Roddy Piper. Elsewhere, Mickie James thanks John Cena for sticking up for her. She invited him for drinks after the show and he accepted in an odd way. Cena, you can run over guys, have 5 moves, etc. but keep your ass away from my baby Mickie!!!
Melina was out first for her tag match with Beth Phoenix against Mickie James & Maria. I wonder if Mickie would be willing to give me a private dance when I turn 21 in October. Maria & Melina started off the contest. Melina ended up knocking Beth off the ring apron, which in turn made Beth walk out on her partner. Mickie picked up the win for her team in a quick match.
Honestly, the 3rd text message poll concerning Shawn Michaels is pointless. The RAW fans think he did the right thing concerning his retiring of Ric Flair. The Smackdown fans think he was in the wrong. I mean, woopty damn do. For those keeping score at home, my Suns got eliminated a few weeks ago. So, I’m going with the New Orleans Hornets. I think Chris Paul is pretty awesome. And if they get eliminated, I guess I can pull for my dad’s favorite team, the Boston Celtics.
This just in: the RAW fans think that Shawn Michaels is telling the truth concerning his knee injury. Chris Jericho made his way down to “apologize” to Shawn Michaels. He wasn’t carrying his belt, which I guess means the IC title isn’t important enough to carry around. Ok, let’s look at something. While Jericho was talking, I noticed when they played footage of the injury and it was HBK’s right knee. Then, last week when he walked from the ring, he was favoring the left knee. Whenever he came out this week, he was favoring the left knee again. I mean, if you’re going to fake an injury, at least be consistent. HBK came out and told Jericho he wasn’t the one that needed to apologize. He admitted to faking the injury and not being hurt. Well duh. Jericho went from saying Michaels was faking to actually believing he was hurt. This prompted a Sweet Chin Music and then Michaels hopping out of the ring. The heel turn is slowly working for Michaels.
The returning Jeff Hardy made his way to the ring with a very loud ovation. Maybe, just maybe he can work back into Vince McMahon’s good graces and get a main-event push. When they panned out, I noticed a steel cage above the ring. Jeff wasn’t there to wrestle but to cut a promo. He said he didn’t want to be gone but he made a mistake & he paid for it. He said he had a lot of things to do, like become Intercon… General Manager King William Regal cut his mic off and Regal came out & said nobody wanted to hear him. He said he should be punished more and he brought out Umaga. Jeff dove outside to start things off and I miss the days when he would run the guardrails & hit somebody. A loud “Let’s go Hardy” chant could be heard during the match. Jeff hasn’t lost anything as he hit the Whisper in the Wind for the win. JR went nuts selling the victory. Maybe there’s something more to his return and he’ll actually get a push.
Cryme Tyme made their way down for a match against Cade & Murdoch. They had a decent match. After JTG botched a sunset flip, Murdoch sat on it and got the win. Cade looked pretty damn excited after the match, hugging Murdoch and everything. He got the mic and attributed their success to Murdoch’s singing. Murdoch got on the mic and started singing some Kenny Rogers. I know you young guys won’t know who that is. As soon as he turned around, Cade knocked the hell out of him with a right hand. Cade supposed to be getting a singles push and I guess it started tonight. I wonder where London & Kendrick are.
Backstage, Beth Phoenix told Melina she let her off easy. Then, she proceeded to beat the hell out of Melina. They also had a good interview with Randy Orton and his thoughts on his match against Triple H.
For those who missed it, LeBron James dunked over the “Big Ticket” Kevin Garnett. It was pretty sick. The Celtics have yet to win a road game during the playoffs. I guess that bodes well for a team that has home court advantage throughout.
Randy Orton made his way down with some new theme music that talked about having voices in your head. I’ll miss the…HEY…NOTHING YOU CAN SAY stuff he used to use. Cena came out and saluted. Why, I don’t know. I thought that Marine gimmick shit was over. It sounded like the guys were getting on Cena and the chicks & little kids were loving him. The dueling chant became clearer: “Let’s Go Cena” vs. “Let’s Go Orton.” Regal came out with JBL and made him the special guest referee. The ending came with JBL giving a crappy boot to Cena and a fast count to give the win to Orton. JBL & Orton started doubling teaming Cena which brought Triple H out. JBL & Cena spilled out to the floor and Triple H & Orton fought in the cage that was lowered by Regal. Triple H got the upper hand and took control of the skirmish.
I give this RAW:
3 out of 4 ring posts
Decent show considering it was the go-home show and they were pushing a lot to build for the event. If they had done this last week and continued it this week, the intrigue to buy the PPV would be better.
I’ll be back later this week with my Excess blog and picks for Judgment Day!

first!!!!!!
May 13th, 2008 at 1:18 am
Instead of Cena coming out to confront Regal, I would have rather Kennedy come out to further the feud they got going.
Matter of fact, there was no mention of it this week — well, except for the opening recap of last week. Weird.
May 13th, 2008 at 7:13 am
Nice blog luke. nice to see Jeff back at long last hopefully he will get a push, beating umaga is a good start. lol good to hear god save the queen get booed
May 13th, 2008 at 8:11 am
I am going to miss orton’s old theme song.I like the fact that he and triple H are continuing to spice up their feud. They are going to put on a classic at judgment day.
May 13th, 2008 at 11:01 am
i would like to adress your thoughts on sacrifice.
YOUR DAMN RIGHT IT SUCKED!! othe then the AAA ripoff and the fact that Kaz is finally getting his overdue push, and the LAX overdue title win, there was nothing and i mean NOTHING good about sacrifice. i almost fell asleep in the quarter finals, at least have a singles match in between. why didnt they pair VKM?! that would rock.
btw, is small package like AJ’s finisher now? WTF is that about? why not have AJ clash homicide and have hector roll homicide over in the clash pin position?
onto RAW:
i agree with everything you said, every single thing.
May 13th, 2008 at 11:57 am
Man I’m hoping they go all the way with Shawn Michaels’ heel turn.
Also FYI, “The Dirt Sheet” this week? Funny as hell!
Batista? BATISTA?!
We hang out with Mr. Fugi at the Palace of Wisdom.
May 13th, 2008 at 1:00 pm
I got to say, I come here to read the RAW blog, not about TNA and how bad they suck. I know they suck already and thats why I don’t watch, but please by all means, cram more of it down our throats. I guess I should start watching basketball too seeing as we’ll get updates on that as well.
Not to be an ass or anything, but can we stick to RAW which is what this is supposed to be about?
May 13th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
So, that means I can’t say anything else that doesn’t pertain to RAW? Heaven forbid I talk about anything that’s not RAW!
Bates, you’re a loyal reader. However, if I want to throw a few tidbits in about something other than RAW, I will.
This reminds me of the time when people tried to tell me my TV should stay on USA Network the entire duration of the show.
May 13th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
if you want to throw other things in thats fine, but the first 5 minutes of the read is about TNA. Then you have basketball thrown in there in the most random of places. It just throws off the read is all I’m saying. Put that other stuff as side notes AFTER the RAW blog so those who want to read it can and those who don’t won’t have to. Otherwise people like me who could really care less about TNA or the NBA don’t have to skim over the other parts that we want to read. And I still believe if you are going to do a blog on a show you should watch the show. But thats just me. Different writing styles I guess.
May 13th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
I do watch the show. However, if I flip it to the Weather Channel during the show because it’s thundering like crazy outside, I will. If I want to see the score of another game that’s going on, I will.
May 13th, 2008 at 2:42 pm
Its your blog, you do what you want. I’m just suggesting that you do a “random thoughts” section at the end that you can use for the TNA type of comments. Just a suggestion.
May 13th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
I like the updates on basketball. When Luke puts other topics on his blog it makes me connect with him as a reader. If I respect his opinion on multiple topics (TNA sucking, the Hornets and Paul Rocking) I respect his Raw views that I disagree with more.
May 13th, 2008 at 3:33 pm
I know you don’t like our “long” comments, since they’re not as useful or insightful as the ones with people posting “First!!!!”, so I’ll keep this relatively brief.
Bit of a weak show considering it was Raw’s go-home show for Judgment Day. Some of the matches (Orton vs. Cena, it’s not fun for the 27th time) were lackluster but at least enough time was given to promos and stuff, all of which were great. Kennedy’s doing great in his new face role, and beating a guy like Gene Snitsky will definitely help put him over, if only a little, since anyone can defeat Snitsky anyway.
I’m glad to see them defending (or even mentioning) the World Tag Team Championships again. They’re making Holly and Rhodes look extremely weak by never having them defend the titles. I’m glad Team Cartino didn’t win. If you’re gonna have them dropping the titles, it should at least be to Londrick or Kennedy/Hardy, which in my opinion would be the greatest team to make in WWE right now.
Jeff Hardy’s return made me mark out. His January run was one of my favourite feuds so far this year, and I was so disappointed when he did his “mistake”. Looks to me like he’s picking up right when he left off, so with a couple of months of jobbing, he’ll be in the main event picture again I reckon.
So, I’m not as psyched as I could be for Judgment Day, we’ll see how ECW and SmackDown! do. This is HK-47 saying; You stay classy, San Diego.
May 13th, 2008 at 4:45 pm
I don’t like WWE giving wrestlers new theme music. I don’t even like the new music. From Shelton Benjamin, Mr. Kennedy, Jeff Hardy and now Randy Orton.
May 13th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
Can someone please tell me what happend to the King Regal and the Mr. Kennedy feud? Honestly? I think Randy Orton’s theme music is ok. We just go to get use to it. Now, Mr. Kennedy’s first theme was hot!
Oh and by the way, I listend to Alter Bridge the other day, they aren’t that good.
May 13th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
I’ve always liked hanging back and reading what everyone else thinks. When i heard Orton’s new song it was a clear WTF moment. Thought it could work out. And the whole show had me wondering about the cage. Forgot that the RAW PPV main event is a cage match.
May 13th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
JEFFFFF HARDYYYYY is back baby WOOO
HARDY! haha
May 13th, 2008 at 8:24 pm
Anybody see on sportscenter when they were talking about Kane on the American Hockey team in the World Hockey championship? They said there he was the big red machine, thought that was pretty cool, and wondered how many people would get it.
May 13th, 2008 at 10:35 pm
you guys might get a kick out of this vid. shows a good number of goof ups in wrestling, most that are worth a good chuckle and it shows what blading looks like. and the last part with the dudley’s is funny as hell.

May 14th, 2008 at 2:15 am
LOL, HK
Well alot has been going on Raw this year compared to last year when all we did was see Cena a few times each night.
With the whole HBK/Y2J thing you don’t know whos side to take, what HBK did was very heelish with a cheapshot like that but Jericho was being kind of an ass. The whole tweener thing really works for HBK though cause its hard to boo him.
Looks like more depth is going to be added to the womens division with Beth on her own, could see a super super rare 3 way fued between Melina, Mickie, and Beth for the title, that would be cool and different.
Everybodys new entrance music blows, when the music hits your supposed to know who is coming out and feel that pop. The only thing catchy about Mr. Kennedys music is his voice in the begininng. What ever happened to good old instramental for entrance music. Cena and HHHs music is about the best for that pop cause it just goes off and you know who it is.
Jeff looked like a fool doing his thing up on the ramp with that emo crap that he has now.
Maybe Kennedy has been talking to Austin alot more, he hit that mic check out of now where and even got a kick in before he did it, very stunnerish.
May 14th, 2008 at 3:55 am
Luke, good blog. I don’t really mind the other stuff you throw in there.
He didn’t mean people watching Vince have sex! That would be so wrong on so many levels.
Just so you and everyone else knows, Cena’s up to seven moves! He missed on #1 tonight, hit 2-4, was going to go for #5, plus you have the F-U(6) and the STFU(7).
If you can’t tell already, Jericho’s just a fill-in IC Champ. Sooner or later, Jeff’s gonna have it back. BTW, I could see Jeff v. Umaga coming when Regal stepped out.
I loved the timing of Cade’s right hook! I had to watch it twice! (not counting the replays)
All the guys must be waiting for Cena to turn heel. Once Hardy gets a run with the title, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see it. You always need at least two faces to a franchise. They had Stone Cold, The Rock, and HHH back in THE Era, so they could turn at least one of them heel at any given time.
I have to agree with most of the complaints about the songs. I think that every superstar should start out with an instro entrance song, then, maybe, add words down the line like they did with Stone Cold and Lashley.
HK-If you’re gonna do a long post, that’s how you do it.
May 14th, 2008 at 4:08 am
One more thing, which out of the three of the bloggers has a huge Crush on Gina Carano? I’m only asking to see if you caught her on ESPN tuesday night.
May 14th, 2008 at 9:51 am
I thought there were four bloggers.
Anyway, to elaborate on something somebody said – WWE giving Cena Mr. Kennedy’s Regal feud is disgusting. Cena is off working on another box office bomb, and the minute he gets back, he’s given somebody else’s spot, like some rich upper class kid. F’n disgusting.
By the way, Big D, I don’t get what you said. You meant your post is an example of how a long post should be or what?
May 14th, 2008 at 10:54 am
Big D, that would be me concerning Gina. I missed her on ESPN. I’ll find a replay somewhere.
HK, if you would lay off of your little intro/outro stuff, i.e. This is HK-47 saying; You stay classy, San Diego or the something “sub blog!” I wouldn’t mind as much. Just write a regular comment like everybody else.
May 14th, 2008 at 11:58 am
haha now thats funny. If you wouldn’t put things about TNA in a RAW blog then I wouldn’t mind so much. Just write a regular blog like everyone else.
You won’t listen to me, and I have a strong feeling HK isn’t going to listen to you, and quite frankly, he doesn’t have to. His comments are clean and thats the rule. So what’s the problem?
May 14th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
Heh, so that was your only problem? Jeez, you could have just said so! I dunno about you, but subtlety on the web is non-existent. Just say stuff straight out.
I respect you and your great bloggery, and although I think we could both have handled this whole comment deletion situation less like little kids, I never meant to try to outdo you in any way, and I am willing to let it go. HK-47 ou…oh wait. Just yeah.
May 14th, 2008 at 3:57 pm
I don’t see Cena taking over Mr. Kennedys fued, just saw Cena interacting with the boss of Raw who could have it in for all faces. Didn’t HHH come down last week and interject? What would have been better Cena talking to Regal or Cena cutting the same promo about JBL. I’m sure the Mr. Kennedy/Regal fued will continue to build, but Regals a busy man. And Cenas no rich white kid hes clearly from the streets why else would he have had the gimmick of a hardcore rapper with street cred for miles.
About the heel Cena I read that Cena and Punk will be forming a heel tag team and Punk will be changing his name to MC Punk. I think that would be just awesome and people would eat that up to see how ridiculous that whole thing could be if anything like that did happen. Those two together would be hotter than G Unit was a few years back.
Didn’t Jeff’s pin on Umaga seem 1 second short of a 3 count?
Luke writes a wrestling blog so he could incorperate his thoughts on multiple wrestling promotions(which he does), He even puts it in pre-show notes so if you don’t want to read what he had for breakfast or thinks of the second biggest companys recent PPV, you don’t have to let it interfer with your fierce devotion of this blog.
May 14th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
Oh good, another one. So what say you on Luke telling HK how he has to write his comments? I’d be curious. Do you really have your own opinion or are you just jumping on the “Luke is the greatest in world he can do what he wants” bandwagon?
I mean really, did the paragraph about the NBA belong where it is? Did it not throw off the flow of the blog?
I know its his blog and he can do or say whatever he wants. That is not in dispute. I simply pointed out that it doesn’t flow and so far the best argument I’ve gotten about that is “its his/my blog and he/I will do what he/I want to do.” Yeah, good solid argument there. Its bad writing to jump topics the way he does and it makes for a crappy read is all I’m trying to say.
Luke knows I’ve been around for a minute now reading his blog. I post comments on a regular basis. I’ll be the first to say when I don’t like something or disagree. I’ll be the first to say when I do like something and when I do agree, and I’ll be the first to say I was wrong if/when someone proves or convinces me that I am or was wrong. Face it, we can’t always be right, but I firmly believe to jump from wrestling to the NBA and back to wrestling like he does is just bad writing.
May 14th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
off the topic of nba, i think punk might cash in his mitb at judgment day after edge wins the title.
May 14th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
I really enjoyed this week’s RAW, especially Beth Phoenix basically domianting Melina. It was great.
Oh, and, GO SPURS.
May 14th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
Looks like Jeff won’t get the DH Smith treatment, and will recieve the pre-bacstage appearance at TNA treatment Chavo Guerrero got! YES! =D
About the other stuff on the blog, in my opinion, and just my opinion, to me it didn’t throw me off. Then again, I’m a huge b-ball fan myself, so personally, I didn’t mind. And sometimes other promotions will do something so spectacular or ludicrous (however you spell it lol) that sometimes, you just have to share your admiration/anguish about it. It’s like I wrote a few weeks back at Adit’s TNA blog, each blog here has a different and unique style that makes it an interesting read. Not everybody will agreee with heverybody, but then that would be boring XD
And even though it may sound like what everybody writes, well, the truth is, it’s his blog, there’s no other way to put it, it’s not bandwagoning, because I don’t agree with what everybody writes (I wrote AGAINST a comment Luke himself made in the TNA blog a little while back). Anywho, that’s all I got to say, oh, and that’s how Y2J’s intro should’ve been in the first place instead of going after Orton so fast!
May 14th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
and its our comments so why can’t we write what we want too? I’m still waiting for someone…anyone to tell me whats wrong with HK doing what HE wants to call a sub-blog in HIS comments.
May 14th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
Didn’t HK agree with Luke a few posts ago to begin with? Lol! Btw, I didn’t write about the “sub-blogs” because I failed to realize that you where asking for input on that as well, from what I read I thought it was just the NBA thing XD I think what you guys write as a “sub blog” or however it’s called is pretty interesting too, because it does raise some good debates on the comment boards. But again, it’s up to the actual blogger on what content he wants on his blogs and comment board. Some may say it sucks that it gets deleted, others will applaud it, it all depends from what point of view you see things. As a blogger myself in other stuff non-wrestling and as a commenter as well, I understand both sides.
But again, from what I read, if HK came to terms with the rules Luke wants in his blog, shouldn’t we move on to a “Fire Russo” chant in unison or something? Maybe a dueling “Let’s go Hardy!”/”Let’s go Cena!” chant? Peace out, people, peace out!
May 14th, 2008 at 9:36 pm
If a comment was a shot a me, whatever.
Lance I don’t think Jeff would have gotten the DH treatment at all cause Jeff is money right now. Yes he screwed up but with him still being gone his stuff was still getting sold on WWEshop.com, and he has a DVD about him out right now. Might as well make him intresting again, instead of bury him which I don’t really see happening since he just went over Umaga, and from what I hear hes liked alot in the back.
DH has been around what 6 months, Jeff for 10 I hope they would be alot more forgiving to the guy that took some painkillers as opposed to roids since they could see him taking all those crazy spot over the years.
I think these last 2 weeks were a test to how much they could get away with Regal doing. This week we had a match started and added to fued unlike last few weeks, where the stops have just shut the action down.
Luke with the power rankings superstars don’t have to be active to move up on them do they? I just say that cause I was in support of Regal moving on to the list once he won KOTR(he didn’t show up till a week later). I mean Regal has been a strong on screen performer but he hasn’t had a match since then. Matt beat Punk in a singles match, shouldn’t that count not takeaway(even though he was eliminated in the championship chase)? I dare say have Kofi Kingston on the list since 2 weeks in a row he beat former IC champ Benjamin, and had a quick clean win over Striker(thats not saying much though, but still its activity in the ring.)
May 14th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
I do the Power Rankings based on the past week and what guys are doing what. So, the rankings run from Monday night’s show until Friday night’s show, or Sunday if they have a PPV. They “cut off” Sunday night. So, I guess I need to explain them.
1. Kane +1
Kane moved up one spot because he’s the ECW Champion and the Undertaker fell back.
2. Triple H +1
Triple H moved down one spot because he’s the WWE Champion and Undertaker fell back.
3. The Undertaker -2
Undertaker dropped 2 spots because he was stripped of the WHC but is still in the title match at Judgment Day.
4. Randy Orton
Randy Orton didn’t move up or down because he’s the #1 Contender for the title & didn’t do much.
5. William Regal +1
Regal moved up some more because he exercised some more authority as King GM.
6. Matt Hardy -1
Hardy’s the US Champ but he got eliminated first from the Championship Chase, dropping him one spot.
7. CM Punk
Punk’s the MITB but he didn’t move up any.
8. Shawn Michaels
Michaels didn’t move up or down because he was busy selling his knee.
9. Chris Jericho
Jericho didn’t move up or down.
10. Edge NEW
Edge made the list again because he won the Championship Chase.
I used to do Honorable Mentions when I did this for another site. I might need to include that from now on.

Well I guess that answers my question, Although I would have moved Regal down since he hasn’t had any in-ring action, and you could Argue that Vickie could make a spot on the list at one point with all the abuse of power she uses, stripping taker of the title is rather bold. But there your rankings.
Honorable mention would be cool, like 3 people hovering around the top since there are 3 brands and somebody could make an impact on each show.
