Bobby Roode Update

Bobby Roode is scheduled to work TNA Lockdown with Austin Aries to defend the TNA Tag Team Championship against Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez as advertised.

I’m sure we’ll be hearing more but apparently there was an issue with the final year on his contract originally signed in 2009. Roode knew the option was coming up and brought it to the company’s attention. The blame is being placed on Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard.

How in the hell do you forget someone’s contract is up? Especially a top TNA star like Bobby Roode. Crying shame. Apparently they worked it out somewhat.

  That’s not exactly what happened. The report by Jason Powell, the one the NEWZ sites ran, isn’t exactly correct. Prichard didn’t just forget Roode’s deal was up. There was a situation regarding an option attached to the final year of the deal. We’ll have more I’m sure.
