I’m sorry, but I fail to see Booker as a HOFer.

    • Nostaljack

Agreed. I don’t get this at all. I know his history but there’s no way he oughta be going into the HOF. Not even kinda. The others absolutely deserve to go in…but not Booker.

      • Jimmy

Are u serious? Lets take a look back….. 5 time WCW champion, one of the biggest stars in WCW, WH Champion, King of the ring winner, First ever Champion Of Champions, capable, talented and entertaining in ring work, comedic and entertaining on mic created some of the greatest catchphrases in WWE and current SD GM. Definitely HOF Material.

        • Nostaljack

There are others who were *far* more entertaining on the mic (the names mentioned below) who should go well before he should. His runs as WCW champion were hardly memorable. We’ll totally leave out the awful commentary; it spoke horribly for itself. He also did time in TNA and did nothing memorable there. I’m amazed how quickly Vince can forgive that but Christian will seemingly always pay for his time there. Strange…

        You’re just plain wrong.

        • Nostaljack

          In your opinion…

    • opie

      Then you must be blind.

  • Kleck

    I can dig it

    • Moe

Congrats! However, I wasn’t expecting him to go in so soon.

  • diddy

tell me i did not just hear that?

  • Chris

There are a couple people I put ahead of him, namely Paul Bearer, Randy Savage, and Jake Roberts.

    • opie

I don’t know about Paul Bearer. He definitely deserves to go in, and he’ll get there, but I wonder if they won’t hold him out until next year. I think his death was quite close to Mania, and that his induction would probably be a lot like a funeral this year. As fitting as that might be for a real-life mortician whose ring name was Paul Bearer, it might just be better to hold off. With Bruno going in, Savage is without a doubt the most deserving candidate, but there’s absolutely no way he should go in without being the headliner of his class. As for Jake the Snake, I think he’s kinda in a boat with Scott Hall where he deserves to be in, but it’s a huge risk to put him in public before he’s had some serious sober time. I think all of those guys could be the start of a very good class next year.

They’ll put anyone in the HoF these days. Not saying he doesn’t deserve it… but he doesn’t deserve it now. Especially after his year in TNA and his godawful commentary.

  • Sheldon Spencer

    Good for Booker T.

  • Stoney

He also called hulk hogan the n word

    • opie

That was like the second clip they showed in the video. They cut “Hogan” and the n-word, but that was it.

  • Jose

Who better than to have Goldust induct him?

  • I agree Booker T deserves it, but not yet.

  • 1molly23

    Congratulations Booker!

I respect everyone’s opinion on this site. I truly do. But I got to say that you people are awful. Why shouldn’t he be in the Hall of Fame? What difference does it make when he goes in? If its this year or down the line? I think he deserves it. Why should he have to wait just because “others deserve it before he does” as someone put it? You guys are ridiculous. Look at some of the senseless inductions that have been done over the years. Drew Carey for one. I think Drew could have cared less when he was inducted. Not that I hate Drew but there were definitely others more deserving. First of all its not our decision who does or doesn’t go in. Second its not up to us when some goes in. The IWC is the first to complain about everything the WWE does or doesn’t do. I don’t blame Vince for ignoring us. The IWC is NEVER satisfied with anything. Period. Hate me if you want but if you do its only because you know I’m right.

Yeah every Hall of Fame has a number of mid carders so in that case none of them deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. They sure as hell didn’t accomplish what Booker did. Besides he deserve to go in just for being a pioneer and being the first and A HALF WWE World Champ of all time,
