- WWE has announced the March 12th edition of Raw Supershow will be held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

- The following press release hit the wire today:

STAMFORD, Conn., Jan 11, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WWE(R) announced today that Edge and the Four Horsemen will be among the 2012 class of inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place Saturday, March 31 at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, the evening before WrestleMania(R) XXVIII.

Throughout his storied career, Edge, known as the "Rated-R Superstar(TM)," held every major title in WWE. He is a former WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champion and King of the Ring(R). His final match took place at last year's WrestleMania in Atlanta, where he defeated Alberto Del Rio(TM) to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 71,000 fans. One week later, in an emotional speech on Monday Night Raw(R), Edge was forced to retire due to a neck injury. Outside the ring, Edge is a New York Times bestselling author.

The Four Horsemen, consisting of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson(TM), Tully Blanchard(TM), Barry Windham(TM) and manager J.J. Dillon, were the most dominant group of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) in the 1980s, transcending the world of sports entertainment into all avenues of pop culture. This grouping was the first of its kind, paving the way for the likes of the NWO(R), Evolution(R) and DX(R). While the Four Horsemen would undergo many transformations over the years, none would ever be as paramount as Flair, Anderson, Blanchard, Windham and Dillon.

Additional inductees will be announced on WWE programming over the coming weeks.

Tickets for the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony go on sale this Saturday, January 14 at 10 AM ET and will be available through the AmericanAirlines Arena box office, , Ticketmaster outlets or by calling Ticketmaster Charge By Phone at 1-800-745-3000.

That was the first Exclusive I've ever watched. And it was glorious. Kid's got charisma.

He's got talent. Hope he makes it big one day.

Always liked Brodus, gimmick shocked me but I'm glad he reinforced that u can take him seriously. I agree now that this was a better move than making him a monster heel, though I never though Clay was generic. Just hope the writers don't take the gimmick too far into comedy and establish Clay the way he deserves to be established.

WWE needs a new big guy that can work well, if you put up with Khali, there's no reason not to be down with the Funk

  • Jack

Clay is awesome. I popped big time for his debut but was afraid the gimmick would land him in mid-card obscurity / comic relief. But he shows a lot potential on the mic here. Hopefully big things await.

Why is WWE hiding the induction of Mil Mascaras? Wasn't he the "First" to be announced to the H.O.F. this year?

So I saw reported some places back in October. He's a big draw in Mexico, but the US audience aren't going to recognise him as anywhere near as much as Edge or the Horsemen. I guess it makes sense to get the two general "big deals" out of the way before acknowledging the niche market. I'd say it's a wise business decision, considering tickets go on sale very, very soon.

I regards to Clay, I hope this character gimmick can stand up to today’s scrutiny. When the Godfather, Flash Funk and others tried this type of character it was a different time. There will need to be a good twist to this to make it truly entertaining and sustainable.

I beg to differ with the WWE again. The most successful version of the 4 horsemen was Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Ole Anderson with JJ Dillion as their manager. I still remember marking out during the segment when Arn Anderson first mentioned the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Then they started with the four fingers sign. They held all the belts and did whatever they wanted to whomever. They put on a great show and always had everyone eating out of the palm of their hands.

Brodus does have charisma that's for sure. However I am still worried that he might become another "Hip Hop Hippo". Don't get me wrong Rikishi made a decent name for himself using a variant of the dancing gimmick, as did Scotty Too Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay. You just have to wonder how long this gimmick will last before they try to change it before it's time.

  • Jim

I guess that answers all the questions about which horseman would be going into the HOF. Sounds like its only the four listed in this memo. Plus JJ Dillon. Seems odd to me that they would pick this grouping over the original line-up. Or even the Flair, Anderson, Luger, Vicious group because of the bigger names. This was also a chance to get Sting there because he also spent time in the group. Seems like a lost opporitunity to me.

    • Matt Scott

Might be alone here, but why should Sting go in the WWE Hall of Fame? He’s not only never wrestled there ever buy he’s snubbed them time and time again? Why do WWE fans keep going nuts on a WCW star and a TNA has been?

      • Lee

There are alot of people that are in the Hall of Fame that have not stepped in a WWE ring

  • Marc

Why does WWE keep emphasizing Edge's last match was at Wrestlemania? I rmbed he did wrestled on smackdown thereafter.

    • BigMike

IDK he wrestled he was at ringside and speared ADR I think but he was not in the match itself I dont think

  • fletch

Clay was the most entertaining part of raw. As long as he does not start agging with santino he is good

  • Kobe

Potential to be the next Rikishi!

  • HPK

Brodus Clay is just another foolish push in a company where wrestling has become basically an afterthought !!!
He kinda puts one in mind of Viscera/Big V/Mabel !!! Rikishi was actually entertaining to watch…this jerk is just being used til the WWE hierarchy decides to shift his character in another direction !!! Look @ what VKM did with people like Val Venis all those years !!! Pathetic…

  • Drew

Anyone know when the tickets for the Cleveland show will go on sale??
