Buff Bagwell Opens His Eyes, Moves Hands & Feet; More Details On The Wreck That Left Him Seriously Injured

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Buff Bagwell briefly opened his eyes today and moved his hands and feet. The full extent of his injuries is still not known. He could undergo surgery by the end of the week

Investigators believe Bagwell made a sharp left turn, causing his Jeep to spin across the raised median and flip over. He was removed from the wreckage and transported by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

According to the police report, Bagwell called his wife just minutes before the accident and advised her he was getting ready to have a seizure.

Bagwell remains in ICU.

I hope he's going to make a recovery, and opening his eyes and moving his feet this early after the accident is a good sign that he will do so.

I wish I knew why he didn't just pull over and ask someone to come get him if he knew he was going to have a seizure. But I'm glad that the accident wasn't any worse than what it was.

A lady was killed just down the road from where I live several months ago because she had a seizure while driving. During the seizure, her foot pressed down on the accelerator and she hit a tree going God knows how fast. Having said that, even though Bagwell is in serious condition, it could've been way worse.
