Cesaro Suffers Eye Injury On Raw

WWE.com is reporting that Cesaro suffered an eye injury during his match with Kofi Kingston on Monday Night Raw. Below is what dot com posted:

WWE.com has confirmed that Cesaro suffered an eye injury during his match with Kofi Kingston on Raw thanks to what WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann described as a poke from Kingston’s finger that rendered the eye red and swollen.

“We did some specialized testing and staining of the eye which showed he did have a scratch on the right side of the eye, which is called the sclera and not on the cornea, which is the clear part of the eye,” said Amann. “We’re going to keep his eye patched for the next 24-48 hours, use some artificial tears and re-evaluate him tomorrow prior to his match [against Dolph Ziggler on WWE Main Event].”

Jesse and I were talking during the MITB Live Blog about how it’s not just Swags, but also Kofi who has injured people, but I have to say that this seems like it could happen to anyone, and possibly no one to blame?

It’s because the other wrestlers aren’t gifted like Kofi is in the ring.

A finger to the eye seems out of character of Kofi, and alot was going on in that match as well during & after, so anything can happen. As for Swags & BNB’s incident, whether or not that was avoidable or not is the question.
