Changes To Smackdown Announce Team, Scott Armstrong On Working McMahon vs. Punk, First Wrestlemania XXIX Promotional Poster

- With Michael Cole serving as the play-by-play man for WWE Main Event, he was replaced on this week’s Smackdown by John “Bradshaw” Layfield. No word on JBL’s status with the company but he was interested in returning and has obviously got his foot back in the door.

- Dot com has a new video interview online with referee Scott Armstrong, conducted at this week’s Smackdown taping, talking about working the CM Punk vs. Mr. McMahon match on this week’s WWE Raw. Armstrong says it was a “real rush” when he found out he had the match. You can watch it at this link.

- The Rock, Brock Lesnar and John Cena are featured on the Wrestlemania XXIX promotional poster to promote the fact tickets go on sale Saturday, November 10th at 10 AM. You can view the poster below:

    All 3 featured… hmmm.. almost makes me think they'd do a Triple Threat between them for the title. Almost. Can't wait for Mania. Especially knowing some of the stuff they have planned and are considering. Some won't be happy and will complain like they always do because they don't know any better but I don't care. Let them complain. I, for one, will be watching and enjoying it. Knowing the non-Cena fans won't be happy makes me very happy. :) I can hear them now jumping on what I'm saying. It's always the same old comments and put-downs I've heard a million times before. Nothing new or worth caring about. They make the same excuses every single time. Complain about the exact same stuff. They will be complaining and I'll be enjoying every second of it, laughing my *ss off the entire time. Say whatever u want non-fans. I could care less. And for those that are fans of his, feel free to join in and laugh right along with me. Haters are gonna hate regardless! Kill em with kindness, as the saying goes!

      This post amused me. You went from explaining how you’ll enjoy WrestleMania to bashing anyone who isn’t a Cena fan. So what you’re saying is; WrestleMania is Cena? Am I correct in my assumption? What a disgusting spit in the face to Punk/Jericho, HHH/Taker, even Orton/Kane from last year. Or too Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Ted DiBiase, Jake Roberts, Curt Hennig, Owen Hart, Ric Flair… The list is endless of people whove have better WrestleMania matches than John Cena. Show some respect to the legends instead of demanding respect for your hero.

    Brock Lesnar Vs CM Punk – For the fight on who gets to keep Heyman – That would be a nice turn of events…

    Rock beats Punk for the WWE title at Rumble with Lesnars help who got jealous that Heyman is spending too much time with Punk.

    Cena enters the Rumble and wins the no.1 contender spot and challenges Rock for the title at WM

    Rock Vs Cena for the WWE Title

    How does that sound???

    or

    Rock Vs Cena Vs Lesnar Vs Punk – Four Way for the WWE Title

    Both of them sound good and am looking forward to WM….

      I think you were spot on with the build up to Rock Vs Cena at WM29. As soon as Rock cut a promo about a 'vision' that he's gonna become the WWE champ, I knew then on that he'll win the title before WM29, whereas Cena will win the Rumble and face him in NY/NJ ;-)

      As for the other line ups, Brock Vs The Undertaker, Austin Vs Punk and Kane Vs DBryan (they lose the title before Rumble and eliminate each other in the Rumble match leading up to WM29)

        AZ – Not sure if Punk Vs Austin can happen in 2013, given Austins health but that would be one match i wouldnt wanna miss at any cost. If not 2013, we always have 2014 :)

        Brock vs Taker – Slobberknocker (JRs Words)
        Kane Vs DBryan – I am the tag team champions – An amazing feud/partnership culminating at WM would be a fitting end

      None. Those ideas are pretty bad to be quite honest. Why would Lesnar get 'jealous' that Punk and Heyman are spending quality time? Talk about out of character lol.

        With Lesnar available to work WM, WWE would want to use him for one great match. Maybe against Triple H or someone else in the WWE. So, who would be the logical choice if Rock is feuding with Cena?

        Punk – the no.2 guy in the WWE right now. both are using Heyman's services and hence a feud between them arising out of jealousy is a reasonable option.

        Punk defeating lesnar would really add a lot of value to punks skyrocketing career and establish him as the next big star in the WWE. Moreover, if he were to challenge Cena after Cena wins the title at WM, his accomplishment at WM must have been equally strong to add justice to his close to one year title reign…

        Punk beat Lesnar and says – I beat the baddest guy on the planet and you have something i held for the whole of last year and there you go, the rivalry for the next few months…

      Kane should sacrifice himself and help Daniel Bryan win the rumble and go on to face Ziggler… It won’t be a huge draw but other matches will sell and this will steal the show whilst solidifying 2 main eventers

    Can we drop Lesnar off somewhere and not have him at WM? I never liked him back when he debuted but he seems even more crappy. Will the UFC take him back??? Austin vs Punck, even do Rock vs Cena agin or even maybe have Mick Foley come back and face Rocky. Anyway hope they plan for a good WM 30 in Toronto cause it will be good to see.

    they have already sorted brock vs. HHH for wrestlemania next year and they are trying to sort out punk vs. austin at the moment, not sure on rock or cena, could be anyones guess.
