Charlie Sheen Clarifies His Remarks About Meeting Daniel Bryan At SummerSlam

IGN has posted a new article with quotes from Charlie Sheen. In the article, Sheen discusses how serious his remarks about meeting Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam were. In the following excerpt, Sheen explains his role at Raw 1000 and clarifies his remark:

“Well, the numbers worked for us. Because I cancelled Twitter, I had to do that as a backup plan. It was fun. It was the deepest into that world I’d ever gone. And I guess the guy who was egging me on is a real problem. And he and I will solve that later. Print that.”

Sheen then added, “It was a promotional tool for our show [Anger Management] and I think everybody is going to win on that one. But it was exciting just to step into a different world that I didn’t ever really believe existed – and still don’t!”

When I asked him if perhaps he might look to solve those issues at a televised event on August 19th (as in, SummerSlam), Sheen replied, “Oh, there’s gonna have to be a lot of money on that one, but yeah, if it’s the right look at that moment, sure, why not?”

Wonder who would be #winning that match?

    • Btb

Unfortunately probably Sheen the way wwe usually books their celebrity matches. Some screwy victory that in the long run would only weaken Bryan.

Wwe has no clue how to push their bad guys, thats why they have so few top tier baddies. Instead of making them competent, they make most of them chicken shit cowards who need to cheat. Even if the bad guy wins the match, they’ll usually eat a bounceback rko a minute later.

Look at Lesner/HHH. Who was in the ring at the end of their exchange monday and who was on the floor cowering?

      • Callum

Don’t think they’ll do that with punk!

        • Liam

          Christian comes to mind

Thats HHH for you. Its ok for Lesnar to make Cena look weak though their programme (with Cena stealing the win via Lesnars overconfidence) but Trips has to be the big man 100% of the time.

    No thanks

Omg…. One more reason that I dont like WWE anymore. Bring in a moviestar, a singer etc, and make them win over a former world heavyweight champ. Thats so much fun………………………… Not

Hey it could b worse Sheen could beat Punk and be WWE champ like wcw did

  • hurrigame

If they're gonna allow Sheen to pin Bryan, why not go the extra mile and pull an Arquette. Have him become the 2nd celebrity World Heavyweight Champion. Then have him lose it in a HIAC match to Trip. It worked for ol' Slap Nuts himself, Double J.

What would really be ironic (notice I didn't use the word "good") is for DBry to win the belt before SummerSlam, then at SummerSlam have Ziggler hit DBry with a ZigZag so Sheen could pin him and win the belt in under 18 seconds (thereby giving DBry the distinction of actually beating his own record of the fastest loss), then Ziggler hits Sheen with a ZigZag, then cashes in his contract to win the belt from Sheen. What a twist that would be.

      I like the idea!
