WWE senior ringside physician Chris Amann and Kane participated in a Concussion Awareness Workshop at Halls Middle School in Knoxville, Tennessee on Monday. The free workshop was for coaches, parents and student athletes to raise awareness about the dangers of concussions.
In an interview with WATE out of Knoxville, Kane said he doesn't believe society has taken concussions as seriously as it should because we are hyper competitive society when it comes to sports.
Amann listed the symptoms of concussion, specifically stating head aches, dizziness, slowness of thought and changes of personality. It's stated there are many symptoms of a concussion from fatigue and confusion to nervousness.
Dr. Amann talked about changes in WWE over the last 6 years, including the elimination of chair shots to the head due to the potential risk of concussions and injuries to the brain.
