*Spoiler Warning* The following post contains material that may SPOIL this week’s Smackdown for you. If you want to be surprised, please STOP reading now.
- For those that missed this week’s Smackdown taping results, one of the reasons WWE is programming Antonio Cesaro and Christian is to see what kind of in-ring work they can get out of Cesaro. I’m told the company looks at him as a “now or never” prospect and he could do himself a huge favor if the matches are worked well and clean. Christian is seen by many as one of the best in-ring workers in the company so the feeling is he has a very nice opportunity.
- As for WWE programming Damien Sandow and Brodus Clay on Raw, I’m told it’s a situation where the company wants Sandow to bring out the best in Clay.
- Unlike the positive reaction from Raw on Monday, I’m told there was a considerable amount of criticism for the way this week’s Smackdown was laid out. One of the more critical points was having Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio face one another this close to SummerSlam.
- Daniel Bryan, who has a reputation for not talking trash and minding his own business, was said to be very critical of Kevin Nash for his comments in the Grantland.com article.
