CM Punk Not Happy With Matches Against The Rock, How Undertaker’s Opponent Was Determined

CM Punk revealed on “Busted Open” with Dave Lagreca, Doug Mortman and Mike Riker that he wasn’t happy with his WWE title matches against The Rock. He said they were the best they could have been but he doesn’t watch anything he does so there’s no looking back.

Punk felt the four-way match to determine who would face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 29 [on Raw] was a “stupid idea” and there were better ways to handle it. This was believed to be the reason WWE cut ties with Eric Pankowski as the head of creative.

I like the fact Punk is his own biggest critic and always strives to be better, it shows he is driven and ambitious, you could never accuse Punk of “just phoning it in” as constantly wants to be better, this is the reason I am such a big fan of Ziggler as well

I personally agree with Punk here. It’s kinda funny that internet fans will criticize him for having a difference of opinion when all the IWC does sometimes is complain.

Punk seems to come off as someone who is disgruntled with his position in the company with the ‘eh whatever’ schtick, especially after how far he’s come since July 2011. I wonder if it’s just some master ploy on his part to just piss off all of the IWC so he gets booed entirely. I don’t know about you guys, but that’d be pretty brilliant. He’s definitely gotten the 3 or 4 extremely vocal Punk haters on this site bumbling about.

Something people need to remember is that punk has an d school mentality and will live his character. He comes across indifferent and disgruntled because he’s a heel and wants everyone hating him, it’s his job. Go back a few years to punk as a face and its totally different in interviews. Even “out of character” he still plays it up a bit which is wonderful
