    I don’t see why you guys keep saying it would be a retirement for him. It’s not like he is going to stop working the indie scene. Let lone after not working in WWE for years to have a random retirement match doesn’t make sense at all

    Goldust could tell Cody he doesnt want him stuck in midcard hell like he was his whole career. That Cody could be elevated to World champion with just some work. Cody doesnt go for it at first but Goldust proves himself by besting opponents on a wild hot streak. Cody takes guidance and comes along wins MitB at Wrestlmania and goes on to be World Champion late 2013.
