Complete Details On Jerry Lawler Health Issues Monday Night

Vince McMahon pulled Jerry Lawler from the announce team at this week’s “Old School” episode of Monday Night Raw for precautionary reasons. However, Lawler’s absence from television only exacerbated concerns about his health from casual viewers. While WWE featured Lawler in a segment with Josh Mathews on the WWE App, the majority didn’t see it.

In the end, Lawler was dealing with a 24-hour stomach virus and has recovered. He wasn’t backstage at Raw when he got sick but when his girlfriend called his son (Brian Christopher/Grand Master Sexay), who was backstage at Raw, the news leaked online.

Lawler enjoyed this week’s show from the backstage area and hung out with legends that were in town for the broadcast. He’s expected to return to the Raw announce team on next week’s show from Providence, Rhode Island.

I hope King is doing better. It was a smart move by Vince to pull him from the broadcast. It would be really bad for something to happen to him on live TV again. Definitely wouldn’t look good for the company if something were to happen to him again for everyone to see. Class act move by Vince to put King’s health above making him work when he shouldn’t.

I am very confused with what you said. In the second paragraph you state he was not backstage, then in the third you said he was. Where was he?

He wasn’t backstage at the time he got sick, but returned to watch the show backstage after getting checked out
