Curt Hawkins Talks About Getting Heat From Midcard Mafia Web Series With Tyler Reks

Josh Stewart of News Day has a new article online featuring quotes from Curt Hawkins to promote tomorrow night’s Raw Supershow in Long Island, New York. In the piece, Hawkins discusses heat from the Midcard Mafia Web series featuring him and Tyler Reks.

“It was within the same mold as Zack [Ryder],” Hawkins, who now lives in Queens, said of the project. “You can’t just duplicate it. That’s not going to work. We brainstormed a different idea. Tyler is very talented with computer animation. I kind of wrote and edited it. We just crossed the line a little bit too much. In a way it worked because we were at the bottom of the totem pole. Even if we brought in a negative light, we brought a light, to some degree.”

It wasn't even remotely within the same mold as Ryder's work. It was poorly written, poorly acted and I've seen better animation involving a stickman walking across a note book. He got heat for it because it painted himself and everyone involved in an amateurish light.
