Dana White Says It Was In Brock Lesnar's UFC Deal He Could Do WWE; Talks Lesnar's WWE Return

Dana White spoke about Brock Lesnar returning to WWE after UFC 145 on Saturday. Below are highlights of White's comments courtesy of the folks over at MMAJunkie.com:

"It was always upfront and said in his deal that he could do the WWE,"

"Everything we did with that guy, nothing ever leaked out of that camp, ever leaks out of that camp," White said. "Those guys did a deal with (WWE promoter) Vince (McMahon), and I guarantee you Vince said, 'Keep this a secret. Don't tell anybody.' And he did. He never said anything. He didn't call me.

"I sent them a text and said, 'Congrats on your deal. I'll be watching.' [Expletive] never got nothing back. They didn't respond and say, 'Hey, thanks we're pumped.' They just did their thing."

"For what they do, it's cool," he said. "I'm happy for him. The fact that the guy came over here, did what he did in the WWE, came here and did what he did here, now he's back over there. Good for him and good for them."

I love Dana White. I just hope this strengthens the relationship between UFC and WWE because they can both benefit from each other. The fact they SHOWED UFC pictures of Brock there on Raw was a step. Vince doesn't usually do that. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds as a huge supporter of MMA and wrestling, this is like a dream right now!

I love WWE and I love MMA and hopefully they're getting the fact that there is a decent sized crossover in their audience and that they can promote each other rather than compete against each other. It sounds like Brock was very rude and didn't appreciate all Dana had done for him… and Dana did a lot. I think that Brock genuinely isn't a nice guy, Brock really is just interested in Brock. You get all these guys booing John Cena week in week out yet John Cena does so much for other people. He's tried to elevate other workers and nobody has granted more make-a-wish foundation wishes than John Cena. I wish people would give him a break.
