Daniel Bryan Retains WWE World Heavyweight Championship At Extreme Rules

Daniel Bryan beat Kane to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules on Sunday. The finish saw Kane pour gasoline on a table and set it on fire. When Kane went to throw Bryan on it, he countered and threw Kane through the table.

A fire extinguisher was used to put the fire out. Bryan got Kane back in the ring, hit the running knee and pinned him to win the match.

The bout went all over the arena, including a war outside around cars.

Kane reminds me in this match why he’s my favorite. 47 years old and
still willing to take the big bumps, bruises, falls and even light
himself on fire to put people over. I have even more respect for him if that’s even possible. Once again, thank you Kane

Kane is an awesome character and Glen Jacobs is a really smart guy. Was checking out a lecture he gave on economics just to see how he appeared and ended up listening to the whole thing, was interesting

I like the fact that Brie was mentioned since Kane tried to kidnap her however I’m glad she was left out of the match and it was just Daniel and Kane going after it.
