Daniel Bryan Separates From The Wyatt Family In Memorable Raw Segment

Daniel Bryan separated from The Wyatt Family faction following the steel cage main event on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw. In the bout, Bryan teamed with Bray Wyatt in a rematch from earlier in the night against The Usos. The bout wasn't the story but was won when both the Usos escaped over-the-top of the steel cage structure.

After the match, Bryan ended up unloading on Bray Wyatt [after Bray called him a coward] and ripped off his Wyatt Family jump suit, exposing his ring gear. The crowd came absolutely unglued, with the sold out Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence doing the "Yes! Yes! Yes!" chant in unison as the show went off the air.

Allow my reaction from Twitter bring you into the moment:

The best part about the ending was when Daniel Bryan slowly kept putting up his hands and you could see the crowd do the same and while chanting yes it just got faster and faster and by the end they went nuts in perfect unison.

  • Jason

Yes! Yes! Yes! I was wondering how long WWE would go with him being with them with it falling completely flat like it did. It was great how they had him in the cage with Bray to get his hands on him. Perfect execution on the end of everyone involved!

First time in a long time I looked at my clock hoping the overtime wouldn’t end instead of begging for it to end!

Really you could tell it was coming cause you could see his ring gear under the jump suit thing. Also i could tell by his reaction on Smackdown. But weird to have him side with Wyatts then turn on them unless they have it Bryan only did it to get into Bray’s head

Think that was the point Bryan getting in Wyatt’s head.
Would have preferred it happened at the Rumble after Bryan and Bray were the last two men in the Rumble match Bryan wins and its revealed his master plan was to use the family to clear his way to Mania.
      But this is good too.

The story line made sense, but as usual, it was rushed and only lasted, what, 2 weeks? I never thought about Bray and Daniel as the final two in the Rumble…that’s actually a very good idea (that now wont happen). Would have liked to have seen that.

        • GOR

nice to see bryan ending Raw regularly. The guy deserves to be in the main event. Always knew he was gonna turn on them but in 2 weeks ? no way. Rushed is the perfect term for it. This should have hapened at Rumble; final 2 or not. But now, I guess this will lead to a singles match for Rumble !

          • Gary Robert

Not to mention they’ve continued the feud into The Rumble anyway with them having a match against one another. If they were going to do that, they should have just extended it.

  • Ranferi

I still get goosebumps just thinking about it !

  • Val Parfenoff

    whats happend to wyatt now?

  • Lebron James

Wow! Daniel Bryan is absolutely taking this company over! He wasn’t given the brass ring, he took it! The WWE hasn’t had a Face that gets this kind of reaction since The Attitude Era. Just incredible to watch. Daniel Bryan will be the face of this company in NO TIME. Cena, it might be time for that heel turn. You’re no longer the number 1 “good guy” in the business. That crown has been forced out of your head by Bryan. Still got chills from that segment.

Anybody else got any more doubts about Daniel Bryan winning the Royal Rumble now.

The widescreen shot at the end. Was amazing to watch. Daniel Bryan has a huge future ahead of him and I can’t wait to watch it.

WWE can not justify not having him win Royal Rumble and winning the title in the main event of WM. I am actually so hyped for WM last year the card was so predictable and right now I don’t have a clue how the card is going to end up. Im not sure who is going to win out of Cena & Orton and it doesn’t matter who wins because I cant see either of them beating Lesnar at Extreme rules. To me its looking like Lesnar vs Bryan for the main event. So for once in so many years it doesn’t look like Cena is going to headline WM

  • K!NG

Sucks for the usos a big win for them and no one cares lol but I did say this program w the wyatts would make bryan even bigger

  • Avalanchian

That ending was amazingly awesome. I knew it would end up happening because Daniel would finally get his hands on Bray alone.

Bryan is over like rover. That was an amazing ending to Raw. Maybe the best since Lesnar’s return. The angle was kind of rushed, but I think they wanted Bryan back as a face before The Royal Rumble, and it made complete sense to have him turn on Bray inside a cage. Where Harper and Rowan couldn’t get in to help. It was the 1st time Bryan actually had Bray all alone. So it made perfect sense for it to happen then. WWE actually did something that made perfect sense! Hopefully there is a lot more of that to come in future shows. That would be nice.
