Once again….most likely a very anti-climactic ending to this feud. A shame they didn’t, as posted here, have Bray and Daniel end the Rumble with Daniel finally turning on him there, winning the Rumble and in the process costing Bray the chance at Mania. I’m hoping there’s some sort of swerve in this match b/c to just have it end in a Bryan victory is just plain boring, from a writer’s standpoint. This isn’t to say they can’t have Bryan enter the Rumble as well as wrestle Bray, but I guess we’ll see. With this match announced, it seems like ho-hum Batista will win the Rumble…because its logical for a guy to be out of the ring for 4 years and then come back and win his first match…not to mention it being a Rumble match. Really hoping for a swerve.

Have Harper and Rowan help Bray win and beat down Bryan afterwards, really sell the beating. The Wyatt Family members end up in the Rumble together and start dominating, then Bryan’s music hits as a late entrant… but he doesn’t come out. Wyatts laugh, keep dominating, only for Bryan to suddenly run in through the crowd and take out all three members. He eliminates Batista last to win. Crowd goes ballistic.

        I’ll take it, haha

they said they wanted to take full advantage of Daniel Bryan….then the only way is to have him win the Rumble, but he’s not even in the match..ugh..so much for that report

    • Ben

Just because he has another match doesn’t mean he can’t be in the Rumble. If anything it could really provide an extra element of surprise to draw an even bigger reaction (if it’s possible for Bryan to get a bigger reaction than he already does).

If he is not reported as an entrant, and he comes out late, the crowd will erupt as if The Rock just came out. People are eating up Bryan, and it would REALLY STUPID for them to not use it.

I just don’t get the logic of ‘they’re in the Rumble match so I get Wyatt to myself’ – that means they will definitely be in the building so can interfere, doesn’t it? Or does Bryan actually think that because they will have a match later that means they can’t leave the backstage area until they have their match? Is there some new rule we don’t know about? Can you only interfere when you DON’T have a match later?

    • Ben

It’s probably just to setup interference without Harper and Rowan being at ringside. Maybe have the lights go out and Bryan is “mysteriously” knocked out for Wyatt to pin him.

        Then that proves my point…
If you didn’t pick up on it, I was making fun of Daniel Bryan for saying something that made no sense at all

        • Ben

Haha I picked up on that, it’s like when they have a steel cage because it’ll “prevent interference.” Spoiler alert, there’s going to be interference.
