Drew McIntyre Interview

Drew McIntyre recently spoke with Sky Sports to promote this Sunday's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view. McIntyre spoke out about his friendship with Alberto Del Rio, working with 3MB as opposed to having a singles career, and more. In the following excerpt, McIntyre outlines his goals in WWE:

skysports.com: Which titles in WWE do you consider to be the most prestigious?

DM: The WWE and World Heavyweight Titles are the ones everyone is aiming for and if you're not aiming for them you are in the wrong business - and I like to think that when the time is right I will get my shot. I have just turned 28 and have lots of years left in me and after being hindered by injury I am ready to get going. I am hungrier and more vicious than I have ever been and I don't think anyone can match my aggression.

They should pair Sheamus, Barrett and Drew in a stable together… wishful think though

    • Chopper

Was that not the stable in wwe12 game? Anyway i totally agree & regal as manager.

      • K!NG

it was but those three wrestled a lot against one another in Europe. Plus i love the European style of wrestling.

    • Guy Landau

For about 2 years now I’ve been advocating a European stable. Europia (a play on Utopia), and with present-day wrestlers it would be led by Regal as the mastermind behind it, and consist of Cesaro, Barrett, Drew and Sheamus. 3 of these names need a push and by associating them with Sheamus you could get them over easily.

      • TheBigKing1

Yes that is a great idea. That will get them over. They can do that in a few years when Sheamus goes back heel again.

      • Razmos

I would have it as Barrett, Sheamus, Drew, Mason Ryan and Cesaro, with Regal as manager

  • Nostaljack

Drew is going to have to find some decent mic skills to go along with his “aggression” if he expects to advance further than his current “jobber” status.

  • Lebron James

Drew is one of those guys who is underrated talent wise in the ring. He can do things most guys his size can’t do. Maybe someday creative will use him correctly. I’m rooting for him.

  • BabaBooey

    3MB is death career-wise.
