- Mister Saint Laurent reporting:

ECW original and MLW Tag Team Champion CW Anderson once again joined Mister Saint Laurent on MLW Radio, the official podcast of Major League Wrestling.  MLW Radio drops a new show each and every week for FREE at www.MLW.com and on iTunes (search: MLW Radio).

Also, it was announced that AAA booker and former WCW/TNA star, lucha legend KONNAN will be on MLW Radio this week with MLW President/former WWE Creative Executive Court Bauer talking all things wrestling from booking to crazy stories to the various talent they’ve had the pleasure (or not) of working with.  It’s gonna be a crazy, unique first of its kind.  Just 2 dudes talking about the biz, without a filter.  After Mister Saint Laurent detailed the upcoming MLW Radio show, he transitioned to today’s subject: Part 2 of the conversation with CW Anderson!

CW spoke about his time in MLW as well as getting the call to go work for WWE’s version of ECW.

Tommy [Dreamer] called me one day and he explained to me what was going on. WWE was going to bring ECW back and he and Paul [Heyman] were going to have complete control.”

CW also spoke about what led to his release.

“I injured my back working Kevin Thorne and I couldn’t go to the next TV tapings because I’d slipped a disc in my back. They start paying for rehab because I can’t work, I can barely walk. The WWE doctor calls me one day and says Vince needs you to come in and take these steroid injections in your back so you can come back to work. I said it wasn’t going to happen.”

“I was a baseball player for 15 years. I know what steroid injections in your back do. They numb your back, all it does is numb it. You go out there and think nothing is wrong and when the pain wears off you’re worse off than what you were.”

    No offense intended to CW, its his choice whether to accept a steroid injection or not, but it does much more than simply numb the pain. Steroids are also anti-inflammatories and help injuries heal quicker.

    But i can also understand why CW would object. As he probably doesn't want to end up abusing them, Some people take it quiet seriously.

    If the WWE wants superstars to heel quicker from injuries,they should say that steroids are fine:-}
