More On The Death Of Nelson Frazier, Jr.

For those that missed the news that broke in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Nelson Frazier, Jr. (a/k/a Big Daddy V and Mabel) has died. Details are sketchy as of press time but the early word is that he suffered a heart attack. He celebrated his 43rd birthday on Valentine’s Day 2014.

Frazier had three separate stints with WWE with his final match for the company being on an episode of ECW on SyFy, where he lost to CM Punk in a Money in the Bank qualifying match that aired on March 11, 2008. He was drafted to Smackdown in the 2008 WWE Supplemental Draft but was released on August 8, 2008, without ever working a match on the brand.

In recent years he had worked internationally, including a stint with All Japan Pro Wrestling as Big Daddy Voodoo and later as Big Daddy.

Sadly a man the size of Viscera was never going to live very long. I have no idea how he was weight-wise in recent months, but during his last run as Big Daddy V, he was huge!

Agreed. He was way too large the last time I saw him. There’s no way the human heart can take that kind of abuse – pumping blood through that body and the pressure of athletic activity. I’m almost amazed he lived as long as he did.
