Details On The Entertaining WWE 2K14 30 Years Of Wrestlemania Symposium, JR Dismisses Lies

There was a WWE 2K14 30 Years of Wrestlemania Symposium in Los Angeles on Saturday night that by accounts we’ve heard, was a great time. The panel included Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Steve Austin, Paul Heyman, Mick Foley and Ric Flair. Jim Ross was the host.

Due to the fact he was slurring his words, some are accusing that JR was inebriated. He explained that he was slurring his words due to his Bell’s Palsy acting up because he was tired. The following is from JR’s Twitter:

I don’t care if they were drunk or not, that had to be the most hilarious part of my night, and it certainly wasn’t pg thank God.

I heard it was a great time so I’m unsure what the fuss is about.

I think JR is blaming the Bell’s Palsy to save face. JR, it had nothing to do with your slurred speech. You and Ric were showing typical signs of being intoxicated. Don’t blame a disease!

I think (from what i’m reading here and elsewhere) that Flair was a drunken mess and had to be removed from the stage by WWE employees. Stephanie McMahon later took to the stage to apologize. This doesn’t surprise me in the least. The last time i saw Flair on RAW (may not have been the last time he was there…just the last time i saw him) he was doing a promo with the Miz and he had obviously indulged in a drink or 2 before going to the ring.

i feel bad for flair the man just lost a child within the last 2 or 3 months let it happen to you and see how you hold up as for JR my brother has Bells Palsy and it does affect his speech sometimes so I tend to believe him leave these 2 amazing men alone

Flair is a drunk who doesn’t need a reason to tip the glass. I feel bad for him too..losing a child is the worst thing that could happen to a parent and his contributions to the wrestling world aren’t in question.

2K doesn’t care because to the audience they are going for, this was golden. WWE on the other hand is big family company, so I get why they are upset, they shouldn’t
hang Flair out to dry through.
