This week’s Smackdown, being referred to as The Great American Bash, will air live tonight from the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas. In addition, WWE will tape the Smackdown portion of this week’s WWE Superstars prior to the show.
The main event will be a 20-man battle royal featuring John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, The Big Show, and more. In addition, Theodore Long will act as the Interim General Manager.
Antonio Cesaro & Aksana will face The Great Khali & Layla in a mixed tag team match. The second round of Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match qualifying matches will take place, as well. Cody Rhodes is expected to follow up on his formal complaint to the Board of Directors about his failure to qualify in a tag team match last week.
