WWE will tape the Raw portion of this week’s WWE Superstars and will broadcast this week’s WWE Raw tonight from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
John Cena will appear on Raw to provide an update on his health following his recent surgery. In addition, Jerry Lawler is also scheduled to be interviewed by Michael Cole. This will be Lawler’s first live appearance on Raw since his heart attack two weeks ago.
Jim Ross will be on commentary with Michael Cole once again, as Lawler continues to recover.
Smackdown Superstars Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio, and Antonio Cesaro are advertised for the show, as well as Smackdown Diva Layla.
Illusionist Criss Angel will serve as the Social Media Ambassador for this week’s Raw.
The advertised dark match main event is CM Punk vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship, but Cena is injured, so whether there will be a dark match at all remains to be seen. Click here for local event information.
