Did WWE Block TNA From Running In Pittsburgh?, Impact Successful, Kurt Angle’s Health

Kurt Angle was on The Fan Morning Show in-studio on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning to promote this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

In the interview, the 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist claimed due to some “issues with the other company,” TNA really couldn’t book any venues in Pittsburgh. He said the Kovalchick Convention [in Indiana, PA] is the perfect place for them to be and if it goes well, they’ll be back in the next six months and do it all over again.

Angle said Impact on the road has been “very successful” and TNA is “on the road for good.”

Regarding his health, he said he’s “100 percent healthy” and it’s the first time his “felt this way” in years.

I talked to Richard earlier about this situation. I didn’t even know Kurt Angle was promoting Impact Wrestling around here. In fact, TNA did not even promote the show. Now, I live an hour away from Indiana, so that “may” make a difference, but I really don’t think it should. They should try to get everyone around the area. I’m driving that far for the event. Why wouldn’t others? And sure hope it goes well tomorrow as I would love to have them back in 6 months!
