Dish Network To Move Spike TV, Important For Anyone DVRing Impact

TNA Wrestling sent out the following on Wednesday:

ATTENTION DISH NETWORK CUSTOMERS: Fans of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING who are also customers of satellite TV provider DISH, heads up. Your favorite Spike TV shows, including IMPACT WRESTLING Thursdays at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central, are on the move.

Currently, Spike TV can be seen on both DISH channels 168 and 241. However, DVR functionality on channel 168 is disabled, so we encourage all IMPACT WRESTLING fans to set their DVRs for channel 241 now. Spike TV will be on channel 241 full-time starting April 3.

  • They moved it last week and I missed the opening video on Impact. I’m not really impressed with DISH moving it first, then casually telling fans later. I was more than a little pissed.

Get Direct tv far better. I’ve had it since 1998 couldn’t be happier. I used to have Cablevision one time while watching a ppv (it was the in your house where Undertaker fought Goldust in a casket match for the IC title) it went off the air at 7:30 because of a storm I didn’t know that so I called Cablevision said can you find out what’s going on please the woman gave me an attitude put me on hold when she came back she told me “It’s not on wrestling is not important you need to get yourself s f#cking life.” Well that was it for me I had Direct tv at my house the next day. Thank god.

      • I actually really love DISH. We have dealt with horrible weather the past couple years and they have held up through so much. The reliability has been fantastic. This was the first time I’ve had an issue, but I will admit I was totally pissed. I went to start the BZ and Spike was gone. That DISH said it would be changed over on April 3rd is crap. It was moved sometime last week, before Thursday, without any notice. For me this is strike one.

  • If they moved it,their must be a good reason for it.
