Dolph Ziggler Says WWE Has Started To Realize He’s One Of Their Go-To Guys

The Evansville Courier & Press has a new article online promoting tomorrow night’s WWE live event with comments from Dolph Ziggler. Below is an excerpt:

“It’s been a slow, gradual build that they’ve started to realize I’m one of their go-to guys,” he said. “I’m going to continue to build on that and be their absolute go-to guy. I want this championship, and I want to hang on to it for a very long time.”

Dolph has what it takes to be one of the best wrestlers ever, he needs to be a ‘face’ and win the champ, he remains me of HBK in his prime, and defo can wrestle on the same level.

You know, I tweeted that self same thing! He is just like Michaels! Don’t like people making the Ric Flair comparisons!

I agree dolph will one day be a great champion but I personally feel they should have CM Punk retain, Jericho win the rumble thus going on to have a ‘best wrestler in the world’ feud. Although I do like Jericho as a face I feel his best work is as a heel which is what looks like happening on raw lately.

he has the look and the skill set I never like Vickie in her role with him but she is annoyingly GOLD for heel heat But aside from his name he is the total package

I think the fact that he's been asked to do double duty at two PPVs shows how high up WWE is on Ziggler. There is no doubting the man's in-ring credentials. I still think though there is something that needs developing in him, either mic skills or gimmick-wise, to turn him into the sensation he deserves to be.

Watching Dolph you can tell he’s a real student of the game and has watched plenty of tapes – which is one of the things these guys need to do. By watching him you see moments where you see moments of ‘Ric Flair’ or ‘Curt Hennig’ or ‘Shawn Michaels’ – and I’m not talking about the Ric Flair that new/young wrestling fans are familiar with from TNA, he wasn’t always like that.
