Edge Says Divas Don’t Get A Shot, Steve Austin Won’t Rule Out Return, WWE Stars Confirmed For “The Soup”

- Edge was asked about women’s wrestling in WWE on Twitter and here’s what he said: “I don’t think they get a shot, and that’s why most leave. No incentive.” Edge’s real life girlfriend, Beth Phoenix, left the company last month.

- Bay News 9 in Florida has a new Q&A online with Steve Austin. He continues to not rule out a potential in-ring return. You can read it at this link.

- Confirmed for next week’s WWE-themed episode of “The Soup” on E! is Hornswoggle, The Miz and Eve Torres. As previously reported, the special will air first on E! on Wednesday at 10/9CT.

I wish Austin would come back for another run. Austin is and always will be my favorite wrestler of all time. I hope that his neck and body are fully heeled and that he can go for about 3 years, he does look to be in great shape. If Hogan was still going before the back surgery then Austin can pull a Hbk.

Austin won’t comeback because he’s asking price is too big. And besides, he should stay retired. He had a great run in the attitude era but those days are long gone. No need too comeback and embarress himself like guys like Flair & Hogan are doing.

The one match I would have loved to see would have been Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma, Last Woman Standing.

They were the two that would have come closest to replacing Trish and Lita, and creative just doesn't bother with the Divas any more.

WWE is wasting diva division……..see TNA in other side……..recently they rewarded gail kim best pro wrestler diva of 2012………and she deserves that…………I dont know WWE spoiling the product …………..Richard can you tel me is any chance in future that divas division will again recognized in WWE……I watched up growing Attitude era………those days divas like Trish, lita,molly holly, jacqueline ,even stephene etc etc…..were famous those days……..again those days will come back in WWE
