Eric Bischoff Comments On Leaving The Impact Zone & Having An On-Air Role

Spread the love

Twitter has been a great way to get superstar's reactions and feelings about many things in the pro-wrestling business. On a different note, we haven't heard from Eric Bischoff lately. But, he found himself on the social media site yesterday tweeting away. I was able to come across some two pretty interesting tweets. The first one has Eric commenting on leaving the Impact Zone. He is heading to Orlando, for Impact Wrestling, tomorrow for the last time. He explains his time there over the years:

A fan told Eric that he wanted to see him back on television in either TNA or WWE. Eric responded:

Since the duration of Aces & 8s, people have been thinking that Eric was the leader. He very well could be. Is this a work? Only time will tell.

At least one of them is getting the hint that they’re not having a positive impact, are too old and no longer relevant. Now if only Hogan would realize that he should be an occasional appearance instead of a constant one.

Think you guys are forgetting what Hulk Hogan actually did for the wrestling business, he was the guy that put WWE on the map and others followed, how many of todays wrestlers say that they grew up watching Hulk Hogan and it was him that made them want to pursue their dream, have some respect for the man, as for Bischoff, he also made WCW a show that could compete with WWE if it wernt for him we wouldnt of had the monday night wars, the NWO or even the attitude era in WWE, dont start with the whole MARK comments either because im far from it, im just a long time fan who has lived through the above and know who was responsible for it!!

I’m sorry, but what Hulk Hogan did is meaningless compared to what he does now. Ignoring how much you’ve overrated his impact on the business, the past has no relevance on current day. He is doing nothing for TNA, he didn’t boost ratings, his decisions with the company damaged its credibility and its ratings. He’s a broken down old man who is so far past his prime that everything he does is laughable. He’s doing nothing for TNA, and they’d be better off without him. The fact that he was big 30 years ago has no relevance on modern day.

It was Hogan who told Dixie to take impact on the road, it was Hogans pulling power that signed most of the talent they have right now, they actually have watchable storylines now as well, the past does matter, without hogan wrestling wouldnt of been what it has been

He is also partly responsible for getting rid of the six sided ring and burying guys like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. He has done more harm than good inTNA. As much I was a fan of his during his run in WCW, IMO Hogan and Bischoff must go.

The six sided ring was a gimmick, he took it back to being traditional, this is wrestling not MMA, TNA were just inbetween a squared circle and an octagon!

What does that mean Hogan is all about self. The guy isn’t doing nothing that he said he would when he did the huge press conference. He has also brought bad press to the Tha with the sex tape with his best friends wife. Hogan may have been huge in the 80’s and 90’s however that Hogan had been gone for years. And don’t forget that it was Vince that created Hogan and in wcw he kept stars down. As for bischoff the only thing he did was run wcw into the ground by overpaying and not focused only what was important. Wcw used to give away tickets to sell out shows.

Right…and look @ it now w/ him involved !!! Him/Bischoff and those “like” them are NOT relevant to this era of PW in anyway , shape or form (especially Hulk , who’s shape and form is alway’s injured and in need of an operation…LOL)…Talk about somebody who could phuck-up a wet dream !!! Sure…HH is a legend who put PW on the map back in the day , as did guys like Flair , Andre , Slaughter , Savage , King Kong Bundy , Big John Studd , Snuka , Piper , Orndorf , Albano , Duggan , Luger , Junk Yard Dog , Chief Jay Strongbow , Tony Atlas , Big Bossman , Sammartino , Harley Race , Rhoads , etc…But I would/care to see them hogging the spotlight from fresh and upstart talent like he does !!!

Key word being “DID” as in what he “DID” for the company, and we commend him for it but what he is “DOING” now is not right and he had his time so it’s time to just sit down and take care of his kids or something.

Agree !!! The man NEVER ran a PW organization in his whole miserable existence…except into the ground !!! Bischoff and He were both chiefly responsible , along w/ Nash , for WCW’s untimely demise…and yet , they still deny that , and have the audacity to blame others…like the fans !!!

Bischoff…that is the kinda news we , the fans , want to hear coming from your lips !!! Music to our ears…but don’t make empty promises !!! Now all You have to do is get through to your fellow deluded yesteryear buddy Hogan w/ the same kinda logic !!!

  3. soulfool 10 March, 2013 at 12:32 Reply

Dixie…Get rid of Hogan/Bischoff !!! You got rid of Cornette cause He told You the truth and You didn’t wanna hear it , You can do the same to those two assclowns !!!
