Evan Bourne Still Hoping To Return To WWE

We continue to receive emails regarding Evan Bourne’s status with WWE. As we reported exclusively here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com Premium, Bourne inquired about a return at SummerSlam last August but was told he wasn’t needed.

Bourne is still hoping to return to WWE and remains under a Performer’s Contract. He’s been out since early 2012 after consecutive WWE Wellness Policy violations followed by a Lisfranc injury suffered in a car accident. He returned to the ring at an NXT live event in March 2013 but hasn’t been seen since.

A quick look at Bourne’s verified Twitter account, shows he remains actively engaged Tweeting about things related to WWE.

Poor guy. Doesn’t even realize he’s under the “don’t fire anybody policy.”. Not that I agree since both Randy Orton and William Regal have 2 wellness strikes. But I guess since his were back to back it looked even worse.

IMO he should have been the new sin cara

    • Venom

He’s not tanned enough. I can see him doing that but if they were going to use him he already has a good look and fan following that he shouldn’t wear a mask. Hunico on the other hand, I like him, doesn’t have the greatest look and probably prefers to wear a mask anyways so it works for him.

I would stick a mask on him and hae him feud with Sin Cara

  • Bob’s Diner

If I were him I would be looking at other job opportunities instead of tweeting about WWE all the time. He’s not coming back anytime soon. He’s talented but it is obvious they are going to let his contract run out

Evan is done. How can he not know that? The writing’s on the wall and he’s the only one who can’t see it. He has back-to-back Wellness strikes and he pulled some other nonsense to go with them. It’s over, Evan.
