Look, Cena sucks either way. At least his promos were entertaining when he was heel. They could do a double turn. Punk and Cena. Punks not fully turned anyway. He still pulls face reactions. Just him be a face who demands respect. Or a rebelious tweener, reminiscent of Austin back in the day.

Cena is a large guy who makes fun of people, and insults them, never loses clean and breaks rules when it is in his favor. Isn’t he already a heel?

In some ways WWE has this whole heel/face thing backwards. Most of the heels have more compelling back stories than the faces do.

The only other guy up there with cena and could feud against him would be Orton… But how many times have we seen them feud.. To many to count. That’s why I don’t see cena turning heel anytime soon.

So if Cena were to turn heel… what would be a STRONG babyface to oppose him?? When Hogan turned heel there were so many strong babyfaces to oppose him and validate his heel turn. However, what good would it do to turn him heel? I mean even with the character switches… why would anybody ever want to see Cena vs Orton again?? Cena vs. Big Show??? If he were to turn heel… it would fall flat and fall fast.

My question is who would become the top baby face in the company? Is there anybody on the roster who can be elevated to the level of that position to feud with Cena? Cena would pretty much be unstoppable as a heel as well.

Agreed. Just look at the reaction to CM Punk in Chicago and then how Boston reacted to its own Cena…it paled in comparison and he actually still drew boos there from his home crowd.

Because CM Punk is facing John Cena. People will always go for the person opposite of John Cena. It’s been like that or a while now.

I would argue that i understand that if Cena did turn heel it might make for more entertain programming, but on the flip side look at this.. IF Cena turns heel then the IWC is now happy but still boo him and women and children boo. So the IWC buys the merchandise and not the women and children. So their is no difference in him being heel or not because the IWC is going to boo him anyway either because they are either bored or he is heel. And then if he does turn heel, knowing the comments that i read on this website he will be scrutinize just like Punk is being. So in my opinion there really is no point for him to turn heel because you already have the choice to boo or cheer him. And the WWE universe takes full advantage of that.

When the WWE starts to dub in sound over the Cena sucks chants then is their an argument about having the right to voice our opinion at shows.

I would argue that it is broke……I mean for your top babyface to be booed by half of the audience or more on a nightly basis and then have trouble even getting your gimmick hometown behind you….I’d say its a bit broke

Hogan's heel turn was one of the most shocking turns in Wrestling History. The only way WWE could have topped that was during the angle Cena had with the Nexus a few years back. For now Cena is just a face that gets more mixed reactions than favorable reactions.

I for one would support a Union in pro wrestling, to prevent people in power like Vince Mcmahon, from bullying the wrestlers, and so they would earn better pay and benefits.
