Major WWE Hall Of Fame Inductee Announced

Edge was announced as an inductee to the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame on tonight’s Raw Supershow. Edge will headline the class as tickets for this year’s induction ceremony go on sale Saturday.

The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from the American Airlines Center in Miami, Florida.

I was actually expecting The Rock just with the whole Miami Wrestlemania thing. Edge definitely does deserve to be called a Hall of Famer though.

I seem to remember somebody else being announced first. In fact, Wikipedia can back me up.

From the Mil Mascaras Wikipedia entry, “During the October 16, 2011, taping of WWE SmackDown in Mexico City, it was announced that Máscaras would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.” So, what’s the deal with this? Is it something to enhance Edge’s entry, an omission on WWE’s part, a change in Mil Mascaras’s enshrinement, what?

    Mil was announced at the raw in mexico. But they needed a big draw as tickets soon go on sale. Edge is top of the bill so to speak. Well deserved. Making the man who did it all actually have done it all

    No I think it’s top soon hbk was wrestling for almost 10 years before edge, Edge was always gonna be in the hall Of fame but it’s too soon, the only reason they’re doing it now is because edge Is still fairly fresh on everyone’s minds

I'm kind of disapointed that it's not The Rock, the be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in his home would be awesome. Still Edge does deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, after his career ending injury.

I don’t think Edge deserves to be in the Hall of Fame yet. Way too soon.

Especially when their are so many other deserving people than him out there like Macho Man, Owen Hart, Charles Robinson, and more.
