I'm surprised they let him bring up the fact that he called himself the best in the world since 2005, well before Jericho and Punk used it in their own rights. Personally, this week, including that short video has been a telling one for Daniel Bryan in how he would talk, as a heel. I feel before the heel turn, there was a missing piece of the puzzle of Daniel Bryan that was rarely inserted to complete it. It would be inserted in times where he'd clash with Cole at NXT, and that piece is a very heated and engaging promo. Now as a heel, that piece is inserted, and I'm loving it. Coupled with his wrestling mastery, I am thinking that Daniel Bryan, is the best thing in WWE right now.

Not only that, but how he kept the title, smarts. He even brought it up in that video, not only is he the best, but he's the smartest. That's a kind of heel that differs from the typical cowardly one, and thus, something I'm enjoying more and feel it's fresh. As evidenced from Anaheim on RAW, his character is getting over. It's working. I hope he says he's the best in the world at least once on the mic, on SD or RAW. I sure popped when he said that in the video.
