Full Smackdown Taping Results For Tonight

WWE taped this week’s WWE Smackdown from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Below are full results:

WWE Smackdown (Airing tonight on SyFy):

* The Miz opens the show with a segment of Miz TV. John Cena is this week’s guest, to discuss AJ, as well as his injury. AJ interrupts, as do Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero.

* Ryback b. Darren Young. Titus O’Neil was on commentary for the match.

* R-Truth b. Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match.

* It is announced that The Big Show will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus in a Chairs match at WWE TLC.

* Alberto Del Rio b. Sin Cara by submission.

* Big Show b. Team Hell No in a handicap match. Kane abandoned Daniel Bryan mid-match, allowing Big Show to get the win.

* Kofi Kingston b. Damien Sandow to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Wade Barrett was on commentary. After the match, Barrett announced that he is the future Intercontinental Champion.

* It was announced that Michael Cole will interview Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns next week on Raw.

* Dolph Ziggler b. Randy Orton with a roll-up. After the match, Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez came out to attack Orton. Orton hit Ricardo with an RKO as Del Rio escaped. As Ziggler was escaping up the ramp, John Cena attacked him and put him in an STF to end the show.

    So as of right now, it's clear creative is working an angle for Ziggler vs Cena at TLC or possibly at RR. As a fan, I sure as hell hope they put Ziggler over Cena whenever that match takes place so they can make dolph look strong when they finally allow him cash in his MITB briefcase. If Cena is the guy everyone says he is, he will allow thisto happen and for once give a younger star the huge push they need to make it to the top.
