Hulk Hogan Advertised To Appear At TNA Bound For Glory

TNA Wrestling still lists Hulk Hogan amongst the superstars expected to appear at Sunday's Bound for Glory pay-per-view. Below is an excerpt from the official pay-per-view preview:

TNA Wrestling Superstars including inaugural TNA Hall of Famer “The Icon” STING, “The Immortal” HULK HOGAN, BULLY RAY, “The Charismatic Enigma” JEFF HARDY, Olympic gold medalist KURT ANGLE, “The Phenomenal” AJ STYLES, BOBBY ROODE, AUSTIN ARIES and “The Cowboy” JAMES STORM, are among those expected to appear at BOUND FOR GLORY, as well as standout competitors from the X-DIVISION, plus the lovely and lethal KNOCKOUTS.

While some are speculating this means Hogan has re-signed with TNA, we simply cannot confirm that as of this writing. If Hogan does it appear, it will mean he has agreed to a contract extension. If he does not, it means a deal hasn't been signed.

Regardless, we'll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage of TNA Bound for Glory on Sunday night beginning at 7 PM EDT here at

If Hogan hasn’t resigned then TNA should remove him from their advertising for the show. As that is false advertising and will undoubtedly tick off quite a few fans that order the show and Hogan doesn’t appear. TNA isn’t in the position to let their fans down by having advertised talent not appear. WWE can get away with no finish endings to PPV’s and stuff like that because they are an established company that isn’t in financial trouble. TNA on the other hand can’t afford to lose anyone willing to fork over the cash to buy their shows by ticking them off, and making them feel like they got gipped. If he hasn’t resigned TNA needs to do the smart thing and remove him from their advertising ASAP. Also if he had resigned somebody, either Hogan, Dixie, or Bischoff, would have let it slip on Twitter before the ink dried. So I seriously doubt that he has signed an extension, let alone a new deal for a serious length of time. If Triple H really did tell Hogan the door is always open for him to return to the WWE, that has to be where Hogan wants to be going. Why play Triple-A ball when you can start in the bigs?

I believe, Dixie must resign Hogan losing a guy of the magnitude and reputation and mainstream recognition of Hulk Hogan”would be significant blow and could drive the perception of the decline of TNA. they can’t afford the risk of him returning to WWE

The sad thing is, Nobody in mainstream media wants anyone from TNA other than Hogan. Hogan gets on ESPN, TMZ etc to promote the company. TNA can’t turn anyone into a superstar without growing their brand…nobody knows who TNA is, they think the WWE is the only wrestling show in town. :/
