Hulk Hogan On Dixie Carter – Is She Really In The Wrestling Business Or Is This Just A Hobby?

Hulk Hogan questions why Dixie Carter is in the wrestling business and gives his thoughts on TNA cutting their pay-per-views in a new interview with the Daily Star. Below are the highlights:

“It’s either hold ’em or fold ’em. You’re either in the wrestling business or not.

Is Dixie Carter really in the wrestling business, or this is just a hobby? You either make the move or you don’t.

You’re at that point now. It’s the same place we were with WCW – you either run with the big dogs or be a little dog and stay on the porch.

“The destiny of this company is in her hands. It can stay TNA, a powerful little company, or she can make the decision to move on to greatness.”

Thoughts on TNA cutting back to four major pay-per-views:

“To limit to four major PPVs will give us a chance to make the wrestlers more important to give the fans a chance to choose who they love. I think it gives you a chance to sink your teeth into the characters and the company.”

Wow way to have the owner of the company that provides your paychecks back. For the life in me I really don’t get why Dixie keeps Hogan around, he stays putting Tna down and talking trash about the decisions that she makes. Here’s an idea Hogan really step up and help the company. I haven’t seen not one good idea that Hogan has had that has taken the company to the next level that he always talks about. The to Monday nights failed. I think that Tna needs two shows the one on Thursday and maybe a one or two hour show on Saturdays.

  Because ot the attitude era WWE won the ratings war because of the edgy programming, its what people wanted to see, WWE is no longer that edgy, im still a huge fan but judging by some of the comments on this site slating WWE, if TNA were to role out a schedule like WWE and get a better creative team behind them then yeah i think they could take some viewership away

TNA has been stagnant for far to long. If going on the road permanently doesn’t improve the ratings consistently, then i think they will have to dramatically change the direction of the product.

He just wants to use Dixie as the scapegoat. Yeah she hasn’t been in the business as long as him but she’s not all to blame. Hogan has enough say in the company and hasn’t got the job done. And he just wont admit that he hasn’t made a damn bit of positive difference in that company. It’s just pitiful

It’s hard to tell but Hulk maybe working in a storyline no.1 no.2 He have to realize u have to have a fresh face pop in everyonce in a while that’s why WWE do well with part time workers TNA is not big enough to get people of a popular nature to work a month or two and leave aka the Rock so to me Dixie doing the right thing but some what still moving a little to fast they should have started out one show road one show impact zone, kept good realation with past throughs as Ken Shamrock giving him spots everyonce in a while and they have the big end with BFG they have the Beginning with impact in the UK, Lockdown now make the summer worth somthing THE AMERICAN TITLE along with the summer best tour with Baseball, Nascar, and Wrestling.
