      Agree

Hogan, for once, that was worth listening too

  • teamUsUcK

Id argue his point and say the only REAL legend left that COMMANDS that type of respect is the Undertaker. IMO

  • James M>>>

Outside the fact they had wrestled dozens of times before, and hogan slammed him in most of those matches, it wasn’t scripted.

  • Mojo

Not according to the Iron Sheik.

  • KingKongBrody

Ok every time hogan tells the story of wrestlemania III Andre gains more and more weight LOL

  • Rayner Chee-bai

Yeah, right. Hogan is full of bull and nothing that he said makes me believe anymore. Andre is the real man unlike Hogan the real puss.

  • Ricky Valdez

Hulkamania is now sex tape tape mania.

Just give it up terry doubt you’ll read this but concentrate on tna and making it better not exaggerating the past and getting mainstream attention that makes you look like a foul.

Man, Hogan gets no love on this site. The guy was telling his side of what happened at the biggest match in the history of the WWE and people slam him for it. Those people need to realize that without that match the WWE would not be what it is today because it was at that point where Hulkamania took off like a rocket world wide and totally put the WWE on the map as a legitimate big time source of entertainment. I remember watching it live on PPV and was blown away. This match was HUGE and will be remembered foreve, but to be completely honest it wasn’t even the best match on the card. The Savage vs Steamboat match was by far the best match of the night, and just might be one of the best matches ever, but the Hogan/Andre match will be the one that everyone remembers and that the show was built on.

I disagree jim, Hogan winning the WWF title is what propelled him to the top.

I would have to agree with you, JIM, but also add that had it not been for Vince's foresight and all out willingness to "go for broke" in creating Wrestlemania in the first place, the WWE would have folded before it ever really began. Even Vince has said in interviews that Wrestlemania was a dream of his that he wasn't sure wouldn't turn into a nightmare. He took a HUGE chance, and it paid of nicely.
