Identity Of The WWE Legend Scheduled For This Week's Raw Supershow

The expected Legend for this week's Raw Supershow is Bob Backlund. My source was awaiting for confirmation that Backlund had arrived in Denver but he was the name that was going around in many circles over the weekend.

As we've seen on Raw Supershow in recent weeks, WWE is bringing back past names to work brief matches as part of the build to the 1000th episode of Raw on July 23, 2012.

    Instead of seeing Backlund vs. Slater like we will no doubt see, I would rather see a segment with Backlund and Daniel Bryan.

    Bob Backlund. I have watched & studied Bob Backlund & He was good. Anyone who say's he should not be apart is not a true wrestling fan

      While I have not said he shouldn't be there, but I will say that I have never been a Backlund fan. I know he's a great wrestler, but he's one I've never been a fan of. I can appreciate his work, but I'm not thrilled to see him on RAW tonight.
