Impact Wrestling No Longer Airing Live

Impact Wrestling will no longer air live from the venues but on tape delay instead.

The reason this is being done is so they can begin taping at 7 PM EDT and have everyone out by 11. With the show airing at 9 PM on Spike TV, it would be too late to begin the second show after the first is finished.

The next Impact taping will take place Thursday from the The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.  We’ll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

Nothing good can come from this.

    This will certainly help ratings….

  • Hercules Rockerfeller

This is not good! The ratings are already low, fans want to see a live show, it’s more exciting. I hope it works out though.

  • Nostaljack

The ratings were were right around 1-something anyway. This likely won’t hurt much of anything.
