Music hits and here comes Dixie Carter! Dixie walks down the ramp and gets in the ring. She grabs a mic. She thanks the crowd as they boo her. She says it is so hard to be blessed when you have the perfect instincts. Dixie says it is great to be right as she has kicked that redneck guy off her show. The class of the show has went up ten fold! No one, except herself, is replaceable. This is a business. No one understands that. It’s not about walking down memory lane. It’s about what they have done for her lately. What has AJ done lately? He went under her skin, but also stole her title and her car and went south of the border. He is not her World Champion, period! Her lawyers will take care of him. She is here to talk about the best tournament in the business. Jeff Hardy beat “somebody” in a Full Metal Mayhem match. You don’t want to miss tonight’s match. She then brings up next week’s Turning Point show. She wants to bring out four important people who will compete on the show. First is Bobby Roode. His music plays and he comes on the stage. He walks down the ring. Next is Storm. He comes out and walks to the ring. Samoa Joe comes out next. Finally is Magnus. They all walk to the ring separately.

Dixie already announced the tournament brackets. Storm vs. Roode and Magnus vs. Joe. Dixie spun the wheel earlier and it was posted online part of their new #Impact365. James grabs a mic and says he doesn’t have to show her anything special. She is not ready to ride with the rodeo. James says he has the hair, beer, and the redneck underneath his skin. He has the fans and they want someone like him to be the leader of the show. James tells him, “Sorry about your damn luck!” Dixie tells them to calm down and save it for next week. One match she is excited for is Joe vs. Magnus. They will be in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Joe grabs a mic. He says he can’t handle this much longer. He says the only reason why this tournament is happening because Dixie couldn’t cut a deal with AJ. They are covering her because of her bad business. Joe says he will run through the tournament and the first person he defends it to is the guy who didn’t lose it and that is AJ Styles and it doesn’t matter where it will happen in the world. Dixie yells at him and says she can replace him like that! Magnus grabs the mic and says everything is about the spirit of competition. If he wants to be top talk, he has to beat the very best and that is Samoa Joe. It isn’t going to be easy, but it is going to happen. Dixie grabs the mic and says she wants to make something very clear. This tournament is about finding her champion and who is looking after her and her business. The real winner will come out on top.

Alex’s Assumptions:

I felt like this was a decent show tonight with some positives and negatives, like always. I felt each story progressed in their own way leading to either future matches or to next week. One thing I liked was the opening segment with Aces & 8s. Bully knows how to work the mic, plain and simple. He said it perfect in his promos: “I am the puppet master.” He truly makes anything believable, well his character. Another thing I enjoyed was the Ethan Carter III match. I find it funny how so many people attack him and his matches. People tend to forget how promotions built new stars. It’s all about old school. It’s about taking their time on talent and slowly pushing them. Speaking of match, the Knockouts match was decent as Gail continues to prove why she is the best. Joseph Park vs. Abyss next week should be very interesting and I can’t wait to see how TNA does this. The story with Abyss has been drawn and dragged out slower than someone who is stuck in quick sand. It’s about time they do this and hopefully it ends next week. Speaking of next week, the show is stacked with possible great matches. Stories progress. Speaking of which, what a story told in the ring between Kurt and Aries. It was an excellent main event by two amazing competitors. I am glad Roode stayed on the stage and let these two do their thing. I am looking forward to next week with Turning Point and their first show back at Universal Studios. Like my Facebook page for my full wrestling thoughts.

I can’t wait to write the play-by-play for that match!

      • Jesse Sherwood

I can’t wait for it either! Submission matches are some of my favorite.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Better you than me. While Impact is nice and short, some of the matches are sick to write!

        • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I would rather write an hour long match than to write the blog for it. Knowing me, it would take me longer to write the blog than the match itself!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

For me, I love writing the matches, it’s keeping up with them on mic that about kills me. Certain people are easy to follow on mic – Vince, Kane, Orton, Maddox, Vickie, Punk, Bryan, Steph, Show – but then Trip, Heyman, Shield, Bray, Miz, and many others have a strange tempo and they throw me off. Matches are easier to write.

I try to stick to the high and low points in the blogs, not go too hard at it, unless the match really deserves it for one reason or another. I expect Aries and Angle will be a lot of writing from me.

          • Jesse Sherwood

I’m sort of the opposite. I go off on tangents and before I know it, I have written 700 words for the opening segment! Then I’ll just clam up for a bit until I find something else to spout off on!

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I know what you mean. We both write the segments differently. Sometimes the segments are easier than, say, an X-Division match.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I don’t envy you the X-Div! I’ve actually changed up my way of writing dialog lately, and while I like the flow more, it’s harder to get it all down.

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

Yeah, I just stick with the fastest way for me. I guess it’s clear to all of the readers.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’ve received some really positive responses to my changes, but it is hard.

    • Alex Gallardo

I’m mostly looking forward to Impact, but then I remember that Dixie will be in at least one segment this show.

      • Jesse Sherwood

And most likely the opening, knowing her!

        • Alex Gallardo

I’m not looking forward to it, I would rather watch TNA go country than see her talk.

      Angle vs. Aries! Can’t wait!

      • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I am hoping it is a clean match. For one time in my live I don’t want to see Roode!

        • Alex Gallardo

I love seeing Rhode on Impact, not only because I like him as a wrestler, but because he’s really hot. Even though I try not to think about that stuff during wrestling.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Alex, sometimes you have to go with the flow and fall apart. There’s certain wrestlers who I cannot watch without turning into a pile of mush.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Alex, sometimes you have to go with the flow and fall apart. There’s certain wrestlers who I cannot watch without turning into a pile of mush.

          • Alex Gallardo

Total Divas is the only show where I have fell apart. I do enjoy Rhode as a wrestler so I just try to focus on that.

        • The Breaker

Sadly, there are bound to be shenanigans. But they’ll still put on an amazing show regardless!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m so conflicted! The thought of Angle and Aries sounds sick, but I’m not sure Angle is really healthy enough to be working the ring right now. His body doesn’t seem to be working right, and I wonder if he could pass WWE’s Wellness Testing right now.

      • Alex Gallardo

Let’s just hope they’ll be careful out there. You don’t need to have a great match to get the crowd crazy. You just have to work the audience.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They work the audience wonderfully, I just wonder about Angle’s health right now.

          • Alex Gallardo

I hope he’s okay, Angle just needs to be a little more careful as I’ve said.

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I thought I would ask… don’t you think the way he moves/acts is just part of the story on where he shouldn’t have came back so early?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Honestly, I don’t think it’s story. I have watched Angle closely, and when he’s not paying attention to what he’s doing, each hand does something different from each other, but the same thing week after week. One of them curls in a strange way, the other twitches in a specific way. It really looks like he’s dealing with some severe neuropathy that is getting worse, even after his time away, and how healthy he very obviously is otherwise. I’m not saying he’s not working hard to stay healthy, just that I think some of these things are beyond his control.

Been waiting for you to ask that question.

          • David Jr.

Since I’m the one who brought it up last week during the Impact Watch Party, I have to agree, I don’t think it’s a story.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Not really. Angle’s hands have been a bit shaky for the past year and a half, and he has that far away look to his eyes, like something isn’t clicking right.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Can’t tell that Jesse and I have been talking about it, can you?

Jesse and I had quite the medical background due to our own health issues, and while we don’t have medical training, we have seen too much in ourselves and others, and Angle has been showing too may symptoms that have us worried.

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

It’s just the fact that I meant Kurt multiple times in the past year and several months. Different story.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Very true, but I also know from my own experiences that there are things you can do to mitigate the appearances of certain symptoms, especially the neuropathic ones. I just hope he is keeping his doctors abreast of any injuries he has.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        Alex deserves that interview!

        • Alex Gallardo

He’s been pushing that petition a lot. It would be nice to finally have the payoff.

      • Jesse Sherwood

He has a petition started up for it. She agreed to it once.

    • The Breaker

If she does an interview, it had better not be in-character darlin.

      • Jesse Sherwood

Agreed. Like KB said, an honest interview with nothing held back.

  • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

Sorry everyone, my whole opening segment was just deleted! Time to summarize!

    • Jesse Sherwood

Alex! The Dixie movement is coming forward!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

        We are rallying!

I will give whoever is Tweeting for her credit. She’s putting out brainless tweets at the right time to people who obviously watch Impact. While she’s proved to be piss poor at marketing TNA, someone is doing something solid with her Twitter account since she’s ‘turned heel.’

  • Jesse Sherwood

Looks like the Twitter movement worked!

    • Jesse Sherwood

Pic didn’t upload the first time!

      • Alex Gallardo

        Well that didn’t take long.

  • David Jr.

Thanks to Christopher Daniels, I will now drink an Appletini a day to keep the doctor away.

    • Alex Gallardo

Maybe you shouldn’t always listen to his advice.

      • David Jr.

Bad Influence are my greatest Influence.

        • jason hu

          Or Maybe not

      • jason hu

        Right I think so

  • Alex Gallardo

I’m looking forward to TNA bringing back the TV title. They need to make a legit mid card title that has the same prestige the IC title used to have.

  • The Breaker

What Joseph Park doesn’t realize is that while Kaz is staying in the back, Appletini could still be at ringside!

    • Jesse Sherwood

And Appletini is 3-0 in matches! It’s the new Streak!

      • The Breaker

Sting can forget about Taker. Appletini is the one to beat!

      • David Jr.

How Appletini is not in the TNA World Title Tournament is beyond

        ridiculous

      • Alex Gallardo

        Appletini DRAWS.

  • Alex Gallardo

That segment was good, but Bobby made it hot.

  • Alex Gallardo

Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle is my dream match, especially in a cage at Lockdown.

    • Jesse Sherwood

Hell, put the two of them in a cage and let Angle get his MMA dream match!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

And see if either of them can walk out of the octagon when it’s over?

        • Jesse Sherwood

Shamrock is in some of the best shape he has been in since his WWE days. He looks good for his age/career.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I actually found his book in my pile of books yesterday. Didn’t know I had it.

          • David Jr.

I didn’t know he wrote a book, other wise, I’d probably have it too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Send me your address.

          • David Jr.

            Huh?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Email me your address. I will send you the book. You jumped at it first, as I was hoping someone would. I would rather someone who wants it actually have it.

          • David Jr.

When did it come out? I would have enjoyed reading it if it was new, but I don’t want a book that’s like 10 years old. I enjoy reading the current autobiographies.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Than I guess you don’t want this. It’s 1997. I’m just not a fan, or not enough to actually sit down and read it.

          • David Jr.

Yeah I was never really a big fan of his, So I wouldn’t want to read a book on him thats 16 years old. Thanks anyway.

          • Matt Hansen

If it’s in good shape I will take it off your hands.

          • Jesse Sherwood

I have to say that I was sorely disappointed last week that Shamrock wasn’t the reveal of the “Former World Champion”. Shamrock was TNA’s first champ.

  • Jesse Sherwood

So, now that BFG is over, I guess EGO is done as a unit.

    • Alex Gallardo

I enjoyed EGO, they deserved to stay as a group.

    • The Breaker

Looks like it, but they could still come back together now and again. No matter what, EGO will always live on in our hearts.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Anyone else noticing Joseph Park is slowly adding more of Abyss’ motions and moves into his matches? It’s like a bleeding effect…

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

He’s working this character and character melding so beautifully!

    • The Breaker

I will give them credit for the subtle way they’re building up to the reveal.

“Bleeding effect”… I see what you did there!

  • David Jr.

It wouldn’t be Impact without a WWE 2k14 commercial.

  • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I was just thinking, has there ever been a submission match where both stars tapped at the same time?

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, with two refs. I know there has been, but it’s not coming to mind…

      • Jesse Sherwood

It was in WWE, I know that much. In the 90s, I think.

        • David Jr.

What 2 submissions could be used?

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

On each other. Both tap at the same time. I know I’ve seen it. I think Jesse is right as to when, but I need to find it!

          • Jesse Sherwood

I can’t find it, but I know it exists!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            Still looking!

          • David Jr.

Hope you find it, cause I have to see it.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Cena and Punk both made Show tap out in a Triple Threat, but that’s not what I’m after. I will find it!

          • David Jr.

I know double tap outs in triple threat matches happen alot. I think Jericho and Benoit made Austin tap out in a triple threat match, too.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Yes, that’s what keeps coming up in my search, but I know I’ve seen a true double submission.

  • The Breaker

It’s funny that these two enhancement guys are getting more of a chance on TV than most of the people who tried out for Gut Check.

    • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

These guys are actually entertaining. Some people need to learn off of them.

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They pretty much have nothing to lose, so they’re going all out and having a blast with it.

      • The Breaker

EC3 should thank those guys personally for doing all this work for him. I mean, from the looks of it, they’re traveling with the roster just to job out to him each week without a guarantee for a job. How often does that happen?

  • Matt Hansen

I am loving this AJ angle. WWE should have done this with Punk.

  • David Jr.

The funniest thing about the whole thing about Dixie being mad at the AJ video, is we’ve already seen the WWE 2k14 commercial during impact.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      May I steal this quote?

      • David Jr.

        Yes, you can.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

          Thanks!

          • David Jr.

            You are welcome.

    • The Breaker

Haha. Great point! It’s those darned regional affiliates.

    • Jesse Sherwood

Got to love that she can gripe about AJ Styles to Spike but not about WWE! Granted, they did sort of address it in the video… “Competitors can by advertising space, so AJ can as well!”

  • David Jr.

    Jeff Hardy’s still making kids?

  • Guest

    “FIX THIS!”

-Dixie. She’s been reading Twitter, hasn’t she?

  • Jesse Sherwood

And he comes Dix! WHOO WHOO!!! All aboard the Dixie Train to Dixie Land, in the magical world of Dixabithia!

    • David Jr.

Is Dixie Land a city in the United States or is it another dimension like Asgard?

      • Jesse Sherwood

Another dimension that only exists in Dixie’s mind. She really needs to have a mental health evaluation…

      • Jesse Sherwood

Another dimension that only exists in Dixie’s mind. She really needs to have a mental health evaluation…

  • Jesse Sherwood

“What has AJ Styles done for me lately?” ADVERTISED YOUR PRODUCT IN OTHER MARKETS!!!

    • The Breaker

Dixie doesn’t pay attention to advertising, you know that!

  • David Jr.

    Jeff Hardy beat Somebody?

    • Jesse Sherwood

Yeah, apparently Chris Sabin matters so much to TNA and Dixie that they can’t remember his name! FAIL SABIN!

  • Jesse Sherwood

About time Joe shoots on Dixie some! Obviously Joe helped to buy the advertising space!

    • The Breaker

Some elements of this angle are too real, and I don’t know if that’s the best thing for TNA right now.

  • Jesse Sherwood

So thanks for spoiling the tourney Dixie. She just all but told us that she will screw Joe next week, and it will be a heel that wins. I’m betting Magnus will turn and win, with as much as she has talked him up.

  • Jesse Sherwood

And while it may be a minor complaint, anyone else notice how Dixie looks like a bobblehead when she is delivering her promos? It’s annoying!

  • David Jr.

I don’t work here, so I wasn’t told to say this. But I read Richard Gray’s article about John Cena and Hulk Hogan, and truly enjoyed it. Also didn’t know he was a comedian, because I laughed at one thing he wrote in it.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I actually read that part aloud to my daughter because she asked why I was laughing.

I’m quite impressed with what Richard said, but I disagree with one tiny part. You will have to read the BZ to find out what that is.

      • David Jr.

I never loved Mr. Nanny, but like Richard, I too was enthralled by Thunder in Paradise, I’ve seen some episodes now, oh my god was it hokey.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I only vaguely remember it. I think I’ve tried to block it out.

          • David Jr.

If I remember you age, you’d have been 20 when Thunder in Paradise, so you wouldn’t have been a child when it was on.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            I thought we’re the same age…

Yeah, not something I’d have been watching at that point in my life, even though it was semi-wrestling related.

          • David Jr.

            I’m 32.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Okay, so I screwed that one up! I know I’m not the only fogie around here! Who else is 40? Heck, Jesse is younger than my oldest kid!

But yeah, not the time in my life I’d watch that type of show. I think I will have to hunt it down for a laugh.

  • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Wait, Kim announced this last week and Blossom is here this week, though it was all taped the same night…

    • Jesse Sherwood

It was. But gotta love Kafabe!

      • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I adore the Blossom Twins, but they’re not ready for Kim! I guess they needed someone to throw at Kim quickly, but anyone who watches Impact knows how the tapings work!

  • The Breaker

One of the Blossom Twins, eh?

  • Jesse Sherwood

Hey, it is one of the Blossom Twins! At least we are starting with recent TNA history.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I wouldn’t be against the Twins feuding with Kim, if Tapa wasn’t around.

      • Jesse Sherwood

Same here. They have some real talent.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

They’re cute girls without being too over done. Very girls next door.

          • Jesse Sherwood

And that’s what I like! That is what attracted me to AJ Lee in NXT Season 3. Geeky girl next door!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Might I say, I love both women’s outfits tonight! Great colors that work well for their skin tones!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

You’re right. You should come teach my sons a thing or two about clothing! Max had to pack for Ash, and I worry about what he sent her!

      • Jesse Sherwood

I can’t dress myself or match clothing really well, but I know what works for skin tones!

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Ah, my boys could still use your help. They don’t believe me, but kids rarely believe their parents after a certain age!

  • The Breaker

She’s going to keep doing it each week? This could be interesting.

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Willing to bet we will see the other Blossom next week.

      • The Breaker

        Seems likely!

  • Alex Gallardo

I hope TNA keeps Hannah Blossom on the show, TNA is very desperate for a good Knockout’s division.

    • Jesse Sherwood

I hope that they bring in her sister too. They should have won British Boot Camp over Rockstar Spud.. Speaking of him, it’s been over 6 months since we saw him last!

      • Alex Gallardo

That show and Gut Check just feel so worthless. None of those guys that have went through it are stars in TNA.

        • Jesse Sherwood

The only one that had any potential, TNA screwed the pooch with. I, of course, mean Christian York.

          • Alex Gallardo

I liked him a lot and was disappointed when he left. Much like Matt Morgan he wasn’t used right in TNA.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Oh, Joseph… If you only knew… Ignorance is bliss!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Now that’s a way to draw the fans in. I’m actually interested in seeing what they’re going to do with this!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Looks like we are getting the payoff to the whole Park/Abyss storyline next week!

    • Alex Gallardo

I’m looking forward to it. I would love to see Abyss and the TV title back full time.

  • The Breaker

Joseph vs Abyss? That’s a great tease!

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I’m really impressed! Great way to go back to the Zone!

      • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

        I agree!!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Maybe I am crazy, but does it seem to anyone else that TNA is trying to avoid saying Sabin’s name?

    • The Breaker

      But why?

      • Jesse Sherwood

He resigned with TNA around this time last year… Maybe that could have something to do with it?

        • David Jr.

But they did show him in the video at the beginning. Don’t say his name but use his image?

          • Jesse Sherwood

Well, they own the footage, so why not? It hasn’t stopped TNA from showing it before.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

            This is TNA!

        • The Breaker

          Let the speculation begin!

        • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

I barely see them doing one year contracts. Sting is the exception.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

Me either, but it is odd how they keep avoiding his name.

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

You talking about the Dixie segment? Honestly, that’s her just being her character, in my mind.

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think it happened again, because Jesse brought it up again.

          • Jesse Sherwood

Yep. The announce team avoided saying his name when talking about the tourney.

          • Jesse Sherwood

True. Still seems odd. But could they be trying to restructure his deal, considering they may see it as a bad one now that he hasn’t paid dividends at the top of the card?

  • Alex Gallardo

    And here’s the interference.

  • David Jr.

Are we even going to hit 200 comments tonight? It seemed like Impact use to average the same hourly Raw did, now it’s not even close.

    • Alex Gallardo

I noticed that this thread has been pretty quiet.

    • The Breaker

I think we’re all going to be watching this match rather closely, and not be as talkative.

    • Jesse Sherwood

It’s a low night. With only 5 active people commenting, it happens!

      • Alex Gallardo

The five of us are better than having a thread filled with 100 robot smarks.

      • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

Been slow all day from Twitter, Facebook and TNANews.com. Maybe because of this week being taped but last week went great on all sites.

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I think next week will be a biggie.

          • http://miscellaneousmumble.blogspot.com/ Alex Barie

            I can’t wait!

          • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

I have to admit I’m actually excited to see what they pull out next week.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Come on Kurt, don’t fall into the obvious trap!

  • Matt Hansen

So with the whole he feels entitled comment by Mike Tenay, does anyone else think that EC3 is going to end up fighting and taking out Sting?

  • The Breaker

I know it’s classic Angle, but why use all these suplexes when you know Angle wants to finish with the ankle lock?

  • David Jr.

I cringe everytime someone does a move outside the ring around the barricade in TNA because their space outside the ring looks so much smaller than WWE’s.

    • Jesse Sherwood

That’s because it is a good 2-3 feet smaller.

      • David Jr.

See that to me makes no sense, Why not have it bigger and then you have less empty seats. Unless those barricades cost alot of money.

        • Jesse Sherwood

No, they don’t, and they see it as another row of seats they can charge $65 for.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Two counters of the Angle Slam! There’s something you don’t see everyday!

  • The Breaker

That was an abrupt ending with the tap out… I get why he used the Crossface, but the story was that Aries hurt his ankle! And the finishing sequence looked a bit off to me with the Angle Slam counters. I suppose they didn’t really kick it into that next gear to make sure Angle would make it through okay.

  • Jesse Sherwood

And I never thought I’d see the day that Angle used the crossface after everything that happened…

    • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

      I’m quite shocked.

  • Alex Gallardo

Well overall I thought Impact was okay this week, next week it’s back to the Impact Zone though so I just hope the crowd will at least try to be lively. I’ll see you all on Friday for Smackdown, but for now goodnight!

    • Jesse Sherwood

      Night Alex!

  • Jesse Sherwood

Well, I wish you well in your future endeavors Garrett!

  • The Breaker

Not that I even like seeing piledrivers all that much, but that one by Anderson was incredibly weak. He obviously fell right back on his bum!

    • Jesse Sherwood

Well, he wanted to be sure to protect an idiot from getting his neck broken!

      • The Breaker

I guess with Garrett you have to do a lot of protecting!

        • http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/ Kendra Bunyon

You said it! I was just thinking it.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Well, with the removal of Garrett from TV, I’m calling now that Anderson wins.

    • The Breaker

You have to think he will. There’s nothing to gain from keeping Aces around.

  • Jesse Sherwood

Well, it’s been fun, but I have an early day tomorrow! Good night, and I will see you all for the Breakdown!
