I also like the new X-Division Title rule. As long as they make trading it in for a WHC shot a once a year thing, and not try to duplicate WWE’s M.I.T.B. where the champ could pick his own time and place to challenge the champ. So as long as it stays the way that it was explained tonight I don’t have a problem with it and it doesn’t devalue the X-Division title much at all IMO.

I wasn’t a fan of their explanation of the AJ/Dixie situation at all. In a business where so many workers have ruined their own lives, the lives of their families, and also where many of them have died due to drug and alcohol addicitions recently and in the past that I just think that it was in very poor taste. I also think that it showed a lack of respect for those who have had problems with drugs and alcohol in the business. There was no need to go there at all, and if that’s the best they could come up with then they are really in serious trouble.

The X division title holder can choose to keep the title or get a HC title shot ONLY at Destination X and it’s a set match they can’t choose their moment. I think it’s a in a similar vein as MITB but it’s different and allows the X division to be up for grabs on the night that is supposed to center around them. There is the opprotunity for a tournament or something similar. I think it’s cool.

Hogan was the only person to mention it (I think Taz or Tenay did at some point, maybe), but sometimes they would have Sting backstage talking about the incident or one masked person come out to speak. I am not against what they did as I want it to play out for sometime. Long storylines are good.
