Impact Wrestling Taping Results (1/19) & (1/26) *Spoilers*

TNA taped the rest of next week’s edition of Impact Wrestling and the January 26th edition tonight from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.  Thanks to Wrestling News World Orlando correspondent Scott Brooks for writing the following results:

Impact Wrestling (Airing January 19th on Spike TV):

* This was a retape from the night before - James Storm came out for a promo proclaiming how happy he is over winning the #1 contendership and said he was better than Kurt Angle. At Against All Odds, he will beat Bobby Roode to win the title. Sorry about his damn luck. Jeff Hardy comes to the ring. Hardy says no one is getting a shot at Roode until he has his final encounter. Storm says that Roode screwed him first. Roode then comes out telling them to stop and asks if they can all just get along. Roode is flattered that they are bickering over his world title, but Roode reminds Storm of the stipulation that Storm won the #1 contendership to the winner of Roode/Hardy, but since there was no winner, his contendership is now null and void. Roode is all for giving to the needy, but he already gave Hardy two shots in five days and Hardy failed, so he isn’t getting a shot either. Sting’s music hits and he comes to the ring. He says that Roode found another loophole and calls him clever, but they are fixing it tonight with a #1 contenders match tonight between Jeff Hardy and James Storm.

* Eric Young defeated Angelina Love w/Winter by disqualification when Angelina kicked EY low. After, Winter and Angelina put the boots to EY until ODB came out for the save. Angelina and Winter got the advantage on her too, until EY got a second wind and threw the two of them out of the ring. EY then kissed ODB.

* Austin Aries comes to the ring and says that he apologizes for sounding like a broken record, but there is no one in his league. He has proven to fans that hate him and the nobodies that love him that he is the greatest man that ever lived. Alex Shelley comes out and explains how he got injured a year ago and when he came back, Chris Sabin got hurt. Shelley wanted to wait for Sabin to heal up before returning, but Sabin told him it was OK for him to come back. Shelley recalls how a few months back, he fought with Aries over the title, but he was not the one who lost those matches and now he wants a shot. He and Aries then trade insults until Aries tells Shelley to go in the back and find an opponent to face to earn himself a title shot, even though Aries has beaten all of them. Shelley tells him that that sounds good to him and that he will be the next X Division Champion.

* James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy went to a no contest. Bully Ray came out and hit Brian Hebner with a chain. He then hit Hardy and Storm with the chain. Earl Hebner ran out and Ray beat him up. The other ref ran out and Ray laid him out. Sting came out with a bat and hit Ray with it and chased them to the back. TNA Champion Bobby Roode then got in the ring and hit Storm and Hardy with the world title. He got a mic and said with the power invested in him, he declares the match a no contest and calls himself still the most dominant champion in Impact Wrestling history.

Impact Wrestling (Airing January 26th on Spike TV):

* In a #1 contender’s triple threat match for the Knockout’s championship, Tara defeated Velvet Sky & Mickie James when she hit her fireman’s carry into a sidewalk slam on Velvet, making Velvet land on Mickie in the process. Tara then covered Mickie for the victory and celebrated with some of the fans.

* Alex Shelley defeated Zema Ion via Sliced Bread #2.

* Backstage, Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray brawled. TNA Champion Bobby Roode pulled up in a truck and attacked Hardy. Storm showed up and attacked Roode, but Roode and Ray got the upperhand until Sting chased them off.

* ODB & Eric Young defeated Winter & Angelina Love when ODB hit the TKO on Love. ODB and EY kissed after.

* Sting, Jeff Hardy and James Storm come to the ring and call out Bully Ray and TNA Champion Bobby Roode. The five of them brawl until Sting takes control and isolates them all away from each other. It does not last long and the four of them start brawling again. The crowd wants them to fight. Sting makes a tag team tables match for later tonight of Storm & Hardy vs. Ray & Roode. They start to brawl again, but Hardy and Storm gain the upperhand. Storm says to make it a tables match and Sting OKs it.

* Matt Morgan w/Crimson defeated Samoa Joe w/Magnus via a discus clothesline. After the match, Magnus and Joe attacked Crimson and Morgan.

* AJ Styles comes to the ring, saying two weeks ago he asked why and he still wants an answer. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian come out. Kazarian starts to speak but hands the mic to Daniels. He says this that this is the same song AJ has been singing for ten years when AJ does not get his way, no matter who is in charge. Daniels says we are not playing that game and that Kazarian does not owe AJ any answers. AJ says that’s one thing of doing things. Daniels says that’s how he always does things, just like these dumdum fans. AJ says he is going to turn his back and calls out Kazarian to make a decision. Kazarian started to come down but stopped. Daniels got in the ring and AJ kicked him in the head. AJ said Kazarian should get in the ring and shake his hand and this is all over. Kazarian gets in the ring, but Daniels gets back on the mic and tells Kazarian he knows exactly why he won’t do this. Daniels says as for AJ, Daniels is going to go to the back and propose a match to Sting for Against All Odds that will settle this once and for all.   AJ Styles vs. Kazarian. Daniels and Kazarian then leave.

* In the main event tables match, Jeff Hardy & James Storm defeated Bully Ray & Bobby Roode when Hardy held Roode down on a table and Storm hit an elbow drop on him. After the match, Ray attacked both Storm and Hardy with a chair and brought another table in the ring. Roode isolated Storm and Bully Ray powerbombed Hardy off the turnbuckle through a table. Roode and Ray left as paramedics attended to Hardy.

Xplosion:

* In a TV Title Match Robbie E with Robbie T defeated Douglas Williams via Spike DDT.
