Impact Wrestling Taping Results From Orlando, Florida (3/22) *Spoilers*

TNA taped this week’s Impact Wrestling tonight from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The following results were written by Wrestling News World Orlando correspondent Scott Brooks:

Impact Wrestling (Airing Thursday on Spike TV):

* Dixie Carter comes to the ring and talks about how Bobby Roode has disrespected this whole company. Sting comes out and says how her firing Roode is letting him off the easy way and mentions how even James Storm needs a chance for revenge as do the fans. Sting feels that the GM position is not working out. He thinks that he can’t be a part time wrestler and part time GM. He wants to continue to train and come back better than ever. He feels that he should give the keys to someone who will give his all in the GM role and feels that Hulk Hogan should get the job.

* In an X Division Title Match, Austin Aries vs. Kid Kash vs. Zema Ion vs. Anthony Nese went to a no contest when Bully Ray came out and attacked all four guys. He took a mic and asked if everyone knew he was and said he was Bully Ray.

* In a Knockout’s Tag Team Championship, Eric Young & ODB beat Rosita & Sarita. Eric Young at one point was being hit on by Sarita and Rosita, until ODB noticed and hit Rosita with a TKO. She and EY got into words until ODB kissed EY and made him cover Rosita to retain.

* James Storm came out for a promo and mentions how a few things bother him such as gasoline prices being too high for parents to take their kids on vacation, football not being all year long, and what Bobby Roode did at Victory Road. He says that he is going to be the next world champion and he will right what has been wronged. Bobby Roode’s music hits and a man in a suit came to the ring with a mic. He introduces himself as William Kelly and says he is Bobby Roode’s legal advisor. He takes out a piece of paper and reads off that essentially Bobby Roode refuses to come to the Impact Zone as the only obligation he currently has is to face James Storm at Lockdown. He said that Christopher Daniels and Kazarian also would like to face Storm and he can choose which of them he will face tonight. Roode apologizes to all of his fans and to Storm but promises that he will soundly beat Storm at Lockdown. Storm says that he will face both Kazarian and Daniels tonight. He looks for a pen to sign Kelly’s paper, but superkicks him instead.

* Backstage, Kurt Angle was being interviewed and said that apparently Jeff Hardy wants a rematch at Lockdown. Angle said he doesn’t need to since he already beat him, despite the controversial decision. Garett Bischoff apparently said that he can beat him. Angle goes and finds Garett who says that he lasted five minutes with Angle lasts week. Angle challenges him to a 3 minute challenge and reminds us that he hates Garett.

* In a 3 minute challenge, Kurt Angle and Garett Bischoff went to a no contest when Gunner ran down and attacked Garett with Angle until Jeff Hardy made the save.

* In a Tag Team Title match, Samoa Joe & Magnus defeated Hernandez & Anarquia w/Rosita & Sarita. Rosita and Sarita tried to distract Joe and Magnus until Josh Lewis from “Repo Games” came down and took the two of them away. Joe and Magnus then hit their finisher on Anarquia.

* James Storm defeated Kazarian & Christopher Daniels in a handicap match via a Last Call on Daniels. Daniels and Kazarian did not entirely get along during the match.

* Sting comes out and calls out Dixie Carter to finish what they started earlier. He says that he has known Hulk Hogan for 20 years and ever since Bound For Glory and says that since then we have seen the real Hulk Hogan and that he fully trusts him. Dixie says if Sting believes in him, then let’s do the right thing. Hulk Hogan enters and comes to the ring. Sting says that it’s obvious to the whole world that he has made Sting and Dixie believers in Hulk Hogan and thinks it’s fitting that he hears from all of the people. Hogan then says something to Sting off the mic and then he, Sting, and Dixie left. .

Xplosion:

* In a TV Title Match, Devon defeated Robbie T with Robbie E via DQ. Devon then beat up both of them after.

Dixie Carter really needs to fire the writing staff at TNA….This is some of the most predictable crap I've ever seen…Hell, a 5 year old could have predicted most of this show, a month in advance or more.

  • LOUIS

well it was doing better now back to crap
