Chris Shays needs to get a life. I'll bet if the truth were known, he watched it when it originally aired and ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! It was a television show, not a real occurance! I realize that what a politician's family does reflects on the politician, but come on! This was, what 15 years ago. 10 at least. And it isn't like Vince went out and raped someone, or went on a killing spree. He played a character on television. That character demeaned a woman. It was a show, and that was it. Hell, Arnold Schwartzenthingy played a killer robot from the future in Terminator, but he got elected as governor. No one brought up the fact that he was killing people and trying to kill a CHILD! Why? Because it was a movie! WWE is a weekly episodic DRAMA!

I don’t agree with the McMahons on thier political view but these career politicians need to find another route because it’s all getting old with bringing up ‘the biz’ whenever election season comes around. I think politicians just don’t Vince and his entire family for reasons we probably don’t know about. Lawler ran, Ventura won so it’s not impossible but I think the McMahons have too many political enemies, democratic and republican.

While I don’t know exactly what is going on with Linda McMahon, as I’m a UK resident, why can’t they just accept this was a storyline – yes it was disgrading, but it was part of a storyline and helped get heat for Vince. Why should this affect Linda McMahon in any way?

I don't understand why they just can't understand that it's entertainment. That was the Attitude Era, and now WWE is PG. If someone in the adult entertainment industry was in Linda's position, I'm sure that the opposition would be doing exactly what he is now. Even if someone dosen't like wrestling, give it a try, they should watch it for a little while before trashing and putting it down. Politics!

These modern day Republicans make me sick. They act more like bullies than the kids in school. They have nothing else to go on so they use old, rehashed stuff from the past since they can't say anything about the present day; which matters most. Politics is dead. It's now about who can sling the most dirt at their opponent.

They all need to be kicked out of office and replaced with Republicans that actually make sense.
