International Airstrike In WWE, Smackdown’s Return To Green Bay, More On The Return Of Wade Barrett

- Apparently the tag team of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd will be called International Airstrike.

- After this week’s Smackdown taping, WWE will return to the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Tickets go on sale on November 10, 2012.

- Despite working Raw live events last weekend, there are plans for Wade Barrett to work on the top of the card on upcoming Smackdown shows. Given the fact the brand extension is essentially dead, I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I'm iffy about that name. It just screams "political" to me for some reason. Then I imagined how easy it rolls off of the ring announcer's tongues and it's still doesn't have that feel to it.

  Same here, if WWE thinks that 'International Airstrike' has a similar feel to the tag team name of Santana and Martel's 'Strike Force,' they are mistaken. Yet, I will give them credit for finally giving tag teams 'names' again.

Isn't "International Airstrike" too violent for the kiddies, conjuring up images of war & bombs & terrorism?

It’s a better name than “Kofi Kingston and R-Truth”. I’m liking how tag teams are getting matching gear, their own names and entrances. Almost seems like they are maybe possibly trying to build it back up. But yet none of the tag teams with any of the qualities I listed have the titles.

  I just call them R-Boom. Kinda a play on the name Air Boom used by Kofi and that other nerd Elvis Bourne or whoever.
