Jake Roberts Discusses The Rules Of The "Accountability Crib"

In a story that I can't get enough of, Jake "The Snake" Roberts spoke with John Pollock at WrestleCon last weekend. In the interview, Jake talked about the "Accountability Crib" and the program that has seen him get back to sobriety.

Roberts said the rules of Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib are simple - no drink, no use and get involved with the program. He said there is absolutely no drinking, they are drug tested and alcohol tested. Jake said Page doesn't force him and Scott Hall, it's up to them.

He teased he wants to work the Royal Rumble next year and talked about an upcoming book. You can watch the interview at this link or embedded in the video below:

Jake working with Punk has potential. Not necessarily in a match but can you imagine those two in a war of words?

I really liked jake when I was younger, he was my fav wrestler. I think it’s great the way he’s turned himself around, but with all due respect he doesn’t have a say in a return to the royal rumble. I have a hard time believing wwe would bring him back for anything other then a hall of fame induction at some point.

  • I was never a fan of JAke but I admire the man for turning his life completely around! I wonder what his daughter thinks about him now. Remember the documentary Beyond the mat? His daughter hated him for what he became with his drug and alcohol use.

Anyone else notice how labored Jake’s voice is now. If he still had his voice, I’d love to see him as a manager. He’s obviously got the psychology thing down.
