In an #AftermathRadio interview conducted by Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) and Jimmy Korderas (@jimmykorderas), former WWE Superstar Jake “The Snake” Roberts talks about the DDT – how it was created from a mistake in a match, to his thoughts on the move being used in virtually every pro wrestling show today, to how to properly execute and sell the move according to him.

He also talks about, despite making many personal and professional mistakes in his career, wanting another chance working for WWE and helping with the product, and the first thing he wants to do is apologize to Vince McMahon.

Good Old Jake, I used to love is wrestling work and moves, those were the good times.

Jake, in the day, was oneof the best in ring workers. He knew how to execute ring psychology at its best. Then, drugs took over his life. He has had a strained relationship with his kid(s). His life just took a downward spiral from there. Hey, here’s a message….Just Say No to drugs. They’ll ruin your life.

It would have been great to have a mind like his on the team when he was just past his physical prime. Unfortunately, I don’t think WWE wants or needs anybody else they feel they would have to babysit.

He could be a HUGE benefit to some of the younger guys, actually, if he's smart John Hennigan would be contacting Jake for tips on how to cut a proper promo. One of the greatest talkers, and biggest psychologists in the history of the business. Still a fan, just wish he hadn't gone so far downhill, so fast.
