James Storm Cleared To Compete; Discusses Serious Concussion

Richard Gray December 11, 2011 TNA News No Comments

James Storm has been medically cleared to compete against Kurt Angle at tonight’s TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view.

Storm spoke with The Miami Herald about the concussion he suffered and of course promoted Final Resolution. Below are some quotes from the piece:

“TNA is taking a stand on this, which they should,” Storm said. “They’re not letting me have any kind of contact, until they get the letter that says I’m cleared.”

“I didn’t really know the knowledge of it [the concussion], until I suffered a pretty severe one,” Storm said. “It’s one of those things that definitely should be taken seriously.

“A lot of wrestlers think they’re superhuman, and it would just go away, but the problem is it might go away for a day, but in the long run, it’s going to affect you. So you need to take care of the problem as soon as you can. It’s a good thing the NFL has cracked down on it. With NFL cracking down on it big time, that it kind of trickled down to all different sports. So it’s really been good for everyone.”
