Jim Ross Believes He’s Not In WWE’s Future Plans As An Announcer

Richard Gray October 13, 2011 WWE News No Comments

Jim Ross discussed his on-screen “firing” from WWE on this week’s Raw Supershow with Sean Pendergast of Yahoo! Sports Radio yesterday.

He said he had no idea of the “firing” and said it was a complete “surprise.” JR called the angle an “embarrassing moment.” When asked if it was just a storyline, he said he was not informed of the storyline.

JR then said he believes WWE management has made the decision to go with a different presentation at the announce position and he is not in the plans.

You can listen to his comments at this link.

Richard Reacts: I hate the way Vince McMahon treats Jim Ross. Embarrassing someone in their hometown just for the heck of it is immature and disrespectful. JR is the best play-by-play man of all-time and WWE has been unable to replace him despite trying for years.
