Jim Ross Looking To Write A Book, Visiting Tailgates, Supports Gay Marriage

Jim Ross has a new blog on his official website with his thought’s on this week’s WWE Raw. He also wrote he might visit some Wrestlemania 29 tailgates, announced he’s looking at writing a book and put his support behind gay marriage. Below is an excerpt:

Anyone planning on tailgating at MetLife Stadium on Sunday of WrestleMania? If so, let me know via Twitter @JRsBBQ. I might just drop by and sample your tailgate food. Ol JR is a tailgating veteran.

Beginning to start doing research right after WM29 on a potential book. This is going to take months so don’t expect a JR’s book until likely 2014 at the earliest. I’m not going to half ass this project or throw something together for a pay day.

I rarely get political here but I do not feel that I have the right, as a human being, to tell other people who love each other that they cannot marry even though they might be of the same gender. All of God’s children deserve to be happy.

All of Gods children deserve to be happy huh JR? Would about the millions of babies that are aborted? What about the babies that are left to die from botched abortions? Richard, I see you are trying real hard to push your political opinion through other people’s views but I would stick to wrestling related topics.

I’m only giving my political opinion when it’s brought up with stories that are posted on this website.

What does abortion have to do with same-sex marriage?

      • http://www.facebook.com/justinneerajlal Justin Lal

JR said, “All Gods children deserve to be happy.” Don’t unborn babies deserve a chance at life? What about botched abortion babies? Shouldn’t they get cared for or should they just be left to die? You do realize that Obama once voted for infanticide.

My position on same-sex marriage is not synonymous with my stance on abortion. The two have nothing to do with each other. Your argument lacks substance, so you’re trying to turn it into a different argument by bringing up abortion. And that may not be a blatant misrepresentation on the infanticide thing, but it is a misrepresentation nonetheless.

They are different, but when JR justifies his position for gay marriage with “All Gods children deserve to be happy” I take issue with that when millions of babies are being killed. Gay marriage proponents always say they want everyone to be happy, that’s fine. But if we say everyone we should include babies — they have a right to life and happiness.

First, one has nothing to do with the other. Second, a valid argument could be made that they don’t become God’s children until birth.

A message for american visitors to this site from an international one I visit this site because i am a wrestling fan.
I do not visit to hear our american “cousins” (to use the popular international government term) to spread american right wing or left wing propaganda It is the reason people living outside the U.S. find americans so tiresome you focus way to much on your time arguing on things other countries stopped arguing about years ago.
Do i have an opinion on these issues some here have raised as relates to my country of course but I know there is a time and a place for it a wrestling news website is not it.
And I’m sure american visitors don’t want to hear my opinion on these issues as relates to my country either.
SO RIchard Justin Lal and Opie STOP IT PLEASE

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You can either agree, disagree, or get out of the way. For the record, Richard was merely pointing out JR’s opinion, because it is newsworthy. I didn’t see this as an endorsement.
